Hi everyone,
So I filed my taxes on 01/24/17 and was accepted the same day. I updated to one bar the next day, and exactly one week from acceptance my bar disappeared and now says “your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” It also includes tax topic 152, and my refund amount is no longer displayed on the side. Last year I received my refund in a week, which was lucky on our part last year. Anyways we already know our state will be delayed for 8 weeks because we live in Iowa, and this year we should be delayed due to the Feb 15 path act or whatever but that isn’t noted anywhere. Also when I try to login to my transcripts, its still recognizing my old address and not my new and won’t let me go any further because of all the new rules. I don’t have a credit card or mortgage and my auto loan is less then 8 digits, its nuts. Anyways some health issues have recently come up and I may be out of work for a few months and was hoping to use my taxes to offset my income during that time. I don’t want to jump the gun and get an advocate as its only been one week, but any feedback would be appreciated. I’ve read many say we fell into a dead cycle and re need to go back through, that happened to me a few years back, just curious is this is what happens when the bars disappear. Thanks everyone in advance. :)
