Well for me I have not had any updates at all. But this morning when I woke up. I checked my status and I was delighted with the path messages. I filed on the 31St and accepted on the 1st. So let’s see tomorrow hopefully I get a DDD

@Jaron You’ll see it today. WMR is slow to update and actually a pretty crappy tool. Call your bank, ask about a pending deposit with the dollar amount. Might not see it until later in the afternoon. It happens.

Based on my experience, if you’re entitled a refund, and it’s approved with a DD, within 24 you should have it, depending on your bank. Usually we see refunds before WMR update to approved status. So you’re very close if everything is good to go, right account, etc.

i have a DDD of today 2/15/2017 but still dont see it in my bank and the status on WMR still says approved and not sent.. anyone have a DDD date of today and received their refund?

Had 1 bar for a few days then the Path msg.
I can order both transcripts.

I think the returns with the same info /dep as in years past that haven’t had any issues will be released pretty quickly. I’m glad my ex filed already and got his refund because it shows the IRS that he already filed and did not file our kids.

I’m sure people might be having to verify their dependents this year. Also self employed people etc…are getting letters. If things on your return look the same as years past them those should be released quickly.

Just looked at another thread some guy from the IRS telling people to not order their transcripts because they tell them nothing and that they are “under review” its like….NO WAY. lol
This whole thing starts to make less and less sense.
They say they can’t do anything until feb 15th then they say well you wont get your money until end of feb…and that’s IF we don’t get audited and who the heck knows who they’ll randomly choose to audit.
This entire thing seems super fishy! Just me and my conspiracy thoughts.

Yeah, I have had the one bar since my return was accepted but I am having fees taken out since I was not eligible for the free edition for TT.

Tia…In regards to my daughter she only had movement on one of the bars saying her return was accepted. I hope this helps. Needless to say shes a happy girl today. She also filed the free edition so she had no fees. Good luck.

So there was a trick you could do to continue checking WMR when you exceeded your attempts to check by opening a privat page in any browser. That has now been patched. Just letting you guys know.

I imagine it’s because they knew so many ppl would check today that it would have took the website offline. I was doing that trick everyday since 1/7 (obsessed, much?) 😂. Sucks though ha

I check everyday at 7 am mountain time Monday thru Friday, and have alert for my bank for deposits. This helps me a lot, have patience everyone

Yall can go somewhere with the bad attitudes, everyone here can read very well, we have all seen the dates of after the 15th, we just know the irs has their own method of doing things. This is how we vent/communicate during tax season. You dont have to respond, you can read and follow but you can’t tell someone how to feel about their money.

Lynne- I am in the same boat as your daughter. I filed on Feb 10th with TT and was accepted on the 10th. No credits of any kind but still one bar and no money as of yet has been deposited. Can you tell me if she had any movement with her bars?

I am doubtful WMR will update before we start seeing deposits. People on Facebook are reporting receiving deposits, not saying that is accurate, just relaying what I read.

Over the past four years my taxes have been garnished because of my spouses college debt, and myself. From owing money to state, since there is so much conflicting information I set my phone to update me when there is a deposit in my account. Good Luck and God’s Speed

WMR is unavailable as of 4:10am Eastern. There’s still hope! Lol. I do know that SBTPG portal doesn’t update overnight, to WMR would be the first logical place to check.
