Curious on how the offsets work. If I cal the offset number it says I have one (School loans). Yesterday my transcripts updated to 971 then 846 refund issued with the full amount next to it. Today wmr says my refund will be held or partially held. My question is. Is the amount showed on transcripts what I am getting or will it adjust after it’s sent to deposit?

Called offset line. Was told it was paid march 4th in the amount of whole refund. Pretty sure I’m not getting it. 🤷‍♂️

The my loan is 3x what my refund is. But transcript shows code 846 and how my I filed for. There is no code 826? Which I believe it the refund paid the debt code? If need be I’ll upload pics. Or just wait for 4 days and see what happens.

Is the amount you see less what you anticipated?

Normally the number you see is the amount of refund you are legally entitled to and then your offset is subtracted.

If it’s a federal offset, it could be different

It will adjust once the offset is paid you can call 18003043107 to find out or contact who holds your loan and see how much it is
