So I knew I had an offset coming out of my taxes. And am impatiently waiting for the remainder. I have no ddd and was accepted 1/22. When I call the offset line it says my payment date for my debt is set at 2/27. Will that be my ddd for the remainder as well?

So since no one has come back after their tax offset payment date to either confirm or deny that their DDD was in fact the same day as the offset payment date, I’m going to assume that it was since no one came back to complain that they didn’t receive theirs?

Hello. Offset line says payment date is 04/03/2019 but WMR has not updated. Still says “being processed”
Is offset payment date also my DDD ?
Did you guys get deposit on 02/27 after all? Help -

Ok maybe one of you guys can help me..I knew I had an offset coming out for overpayment of UI benefits.I called the offset line right before filing on 2/17 and it verified what I already knew. However the next morning I set up payment options online. So I checked offset line again yesterday and it said as of today there is no offset found for that social…This morning I woke up to a ddd of 2/27 with TT203.I logged in my UI account to view my balance and it still shows the full amount owed with detail info about the payment plan set in place.Im wondering if the payment plan could have stopped the offset(seriously doubt it but still hopeful) as it doesn’t say anything about payment received or being scheduled for on a certain date.It just says as of today there is no offset..anyone have any insight on this??

@Larry it will not give you the amount unless it’s paid. Until then it will just give you the name and phone number of the entity you owe.

Sorry but from past offset on my refund I called the offset line, checked both 1&2 found out my offset amount. Then within 2 weeks I received a paper check for the amount with the offset removed. I’ve never had a direct deposit when there was a offset.

Yay updated wmr status for the 27th for me as well. My worry is over. Lol. Everything I have read states an offset should not delay your refund. So here’s to hoping that is accurate.

Im back :)) we were right about the offset line , just woke up to WMR updated to DDD of 2/27 . So the offset line will tell you early your DDD before WMR , Keep calling the OFFSET line if your WMR doesnt show DDD, It’ll show there first.

Is it possible that it’s the bank you’re going through? I’ve had this situation before as well and still received my DD on the date that I was supposed to.
Currently I’m sitting with an 846 code for 2/27 and the offset line states 2/27.
Once the IRS releases it, it’s all up to your bank.
I couldn’t imagine the IRS releasing all of your funds to one entity and then making them liable for your return, and then for that entity to disburse from there. What does make sense is that the IRS sends a pre-note to your bank, and to the entity that holds the offset in anticipation of the 27th, much like if you have your paycheck split up between a savings and checking account. These things can happen simultaneously.

Your ddd and offset will not be the same! My offset was today and after the irs releases it. Then then whomever you have debt with will take theirs then deposit the rest at a later date. I know from experience, 4th year in a row I have gotten the exact same results.
Good luck!

That’s a keeper! Called the Offset line, I now have no offsets!
Then called for my husband (yes, I have written permission Mr. FBI man. lol)
Filed jointly and he’s the primary filer. This time around it told me that he has a payment scheduled for the 27th and the amount of the offset. Sweet.
So yes, that would be your DDD as well. My WMR is still sitting at no bars, and your return is being processed. The past two years, WMR didn’t update for me until after I received my DD.

hmm. it actually tells you that? Good to know. I’m able to see my transcripts now and have a DDD for 2/27, but I do have an offset to OR Taxes, was keeping an eye on that as well to see if it was paid. I’ll have to call and check and see if I get the same message. Actually hoping that they pay the offset so it’s done and over with. ;)
