I knew I had a offset this year. Not for my whole refund amount. I got a DDD of 3/2 last night. When I called the offset line this morning, it said it would be paid on 3/2. I just called and now it says it’s been paid from my 3/2 deposit. How long after its been paid will I get my dd into my nets pend card? Do they deposit on Sundays?

      Filed 1/30

      Bars and topic disappeared 2/10

2/15 Called to find out what was going on, told I needed to ID verify. Verified, told up to 9 weeks. 5 days before my 21 days was up.

Called TA on 2/18, approved and said my TA rep would call on 2/24

2/24 She called, I explained my situation, said she would expedite my return.

2/25 WMR changed from “Your refund is being” to ” We have received.

      2/26 Approved with a DDD of 3/2

      Tax Advocates do work.

To learn more about the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), call the toll-free number for the IRS: 1-877-777-4778.
A tax dispute can be addressed using a Taxpayer Advocate if it falls into any of the following categories: 1) you have tried repeatedly and unsuccessfully to contact the IRS to resolve the problem; 2) the agency did not respond to your call by the date it promised; 3) the routine IRS channels of communication failed you for any reason; or 4) it’s in your best interest, or that of the IRS, to use the program. The Taxpayer Advocate Service generally caters to taxpayers who are experiencing substantial hardship and financial problems due to tax laws, and have not been able to resolve their issue through standard channels.

An offset does not delay your refund at all. And some people have got their refunds on a Netspend card so you could get your refund anytime between now and Wednesday.
