      I HAD A OFFSET LAST YEAR AND IT STILL SAY I HAVE 1 OFFSET AND IT WAS TAKING OUT OF MY 2015 PAYMENT WHAT DO THIS MEAN DO I HAVE ANOTHER ONE

          I had on offset last year as well. I settled my debt with the creditor and was taken out of default and off the offset list. When I called the 800 number it was still saying that I had an offset, so I called the Dept. of Treasury and spoke with a gentleman and he told me that I was no longer an active offset. He said that the phone system hadn’t been updated.
