Wmr updated to offset message, but BSF never sent me a letter, or anything fromTOP.?

Any update guys I know y’all date was 2/23? my ddd is 3/1 shows unfunded but everyone else says funded.

Don’t worry it won’t delay at all if the offset line tells you your ddd is for 2/23 then you should get the remaining balance today or tomorrow. Have you checked sbtpg it’s slow rn but if you wait it will finally load

So on transcript says ddd 2/23. I have an offset, when I call it does tell me the amount, and I would have a refund still. However, I’m starting to worry that the offset will delay my deposit date. Also, does anyone know if student loans are still on hold? I haven’t made payments since they stopped it, haven’t received a notice to continue, etc. Don’t know if they will try to take all my taxes for my student loans. I’m freaked out about this.

Hey Tyler when I press 2 it doesn’t say anything about an offset payment… it just states the department I owe (but I really don’t owe them) and my DDD is for tomorrow

Update this year they are doing offsets, the last couple years they didn’t but this year they offset mine for state tax owed. But the rest is sent to me. SBTPG funded this morning. I called the treasury offset number and hit option 2 and it told me how much was offset from my tax return and by who.

WMR still saying I have offset called the line and no debt was going still… I owe for unemployment benefits but I’m wondering where will I know if they are taking them or not? I’m dreading this. My DDD is 2/23 I guess I’ll find out then?????

@ash pash. Did wmr change from offset message? I just called offset line and this time it told me the amount but wmr just has offset message I don’t have a ddd on there but I can’t check transcripts to see if the ddd is on them. Where did you see your ddd?

I had offset msg on WMR. Called the offset line and had an offset from Pandemic Unemployment back in 2020, that I didn’t know about. The Offset line gave me the exact amount that would be deducted and the DDD. It does not slow down your return at all. I had a DDD of 02/23/23, but I got my deposit this morning at about 1:15am CST. I used TT and paid fees upfront.

Has anyone had any updates on wmr or called to find out if these offsets are real. I’m about to call and see what the irs says the offset line still says I have no offset but wmr still showing message please keep us informed I really don’t know what is going on I’ve never had a problem in 20 years. I’m freaking out bc I really need my refund it’s only $2,600 so I’m scared they will take it all.

I also show on wmr on offset but offset line says no offset. I looked up reasons and it says if you have fees taken out from your refund that it can say that but I’ve always had my fees taken out and this is the first time it’s said that so I hope it’s a mistake. Looks like a lot of us are getting this message with no offset so that’s a good sign. Good luck everyone

I got the offset message on wmr but my transcript doesn’t show an offset. I had this message last year as well but they didn’t take it.

I had a tax dept from my 2020 amended taxes, this morning wmr updated with the corrected amount of my refund and stated my refund was approved for a DDD of 2/23

If it helps, last 2 yrs my WMR showed tax topic 203 for offsets and both years they didn’t take anything. Just because you could have an offset, doesn’t guarantee they take it. Mine was from a state debt and they didn’t bother to take it, it just kept showing up.

I received the same code!!!!! And I just checked my transcripts and there is no code for offset notice on my account. I have called the treasury number and it says their is no offset found but it can be updated daily… I hope this is just some mistaken notice.
