Nys refund

Has anyone’s nys refund been approved? I filed early this year, just got accepted a day or two ago, & just curious.

Had a ddd for4/6/2016… nothing in my account…. now when I check website its back to final stage of processing…

I received an online notice and I went from 30 to 10 and then final after turning in proof of W2. All I get when I call is “wait 4 weeks from last update” and she told me they have to say that. I’m still dealing with 2014 where I had to show proof my children are mines. Urghh big headache

@nichole @kay – did you ever get a letter? I also went from final stages to 10 day to 30 day and to audit. When I call they tell me to wait for letter, so far — nothing. This is really frustrating.

@Nichole did they tell you why you were being audited? The same thing happened to me but when I call they said they did not know why I was being audited that they will send me a letter within 30 days. I thought they would be able to tell me why…

Exact same happened to me and I am being audited. My status finally changed to the audit message on Saturday morning. I had the initial stages of processing message for over a week.

Call them and they will tell you if you are being audited. I have yet to receive the damn letter in the mail yet which is really frustrating.

My refund jumped from “needs further review” to “final stage of processing” now it reads “initial stage of processing”……am I being audited? What does this mean?

I have gotten the 90 day review, changed to final stages, and it’s been on that for 2 weeks. I called the phone number and got a ddd of 2/22 (which is a Sunday) but on the website it still says final stages. So check the refund status number if you haven’t. You might get a date!!!!

Received my federal the first week of February. My state has said “Your refund is in the final stages of processing. Once your refund is approved, the issue date will be available.” for over a week now after it changed from the “90 day further review” status. Any chance I’ll see a DDD this millennium? I’m assuming my refund hasn’t even been approved yet..

Mine was in the final stages of processing for over a week and now it says it is in the initial stages of processing and most refunds are issued in 2-4 weeks. I called last week and the woman told me I’m being audited. I still have not received any letter in the mail.

Anybody else having this issue? I just received Federal yesterday. I am really hoping I’m not being audited by NYS….only because I need my $$$$.

Filed on the 19th, accepted on the 21st, Federal and State via TT. IRS refund deposited on the 29th, still have the “under review” from NYS.

I, too, have received the dreaded 90 day message. My NYC tax return was accepted on 1/21. I am hoping to see an update soon ?

Mine updated yesterday with the up to 90-day review BS.

I think it’s a random selection… and I say it’s BS because I submitted both returns at the same time with the ID verif. with our licenses. Names, ID#s, expiration dates, and issue dates for the most current licenses.

@brit mine changed to the further review today too. I’m so baffled. And still no DDD for my federal either and I filed 1/21 . Hoping everything is ok

Mine had now turned to 90 day review i do not understand why cuz nothing has changed and this is the first yr ever.. Bummer ?? good luck to u all I’ll update if anything changes.. On a better note i received my federal today

I received an update on my nys taxes for a ddd of 2-4-2016. After having the final stage of processing message since the 22nd. There is hope. I pray that i receive it earlier my federal still has no bars smh

Filed 1/23, accepted federal same day, accepted NY 1/24. Got NY approved today with DDD of 2/4. Federal still just accepted. I have never seen state before federal. first time for everything.

Was approved about 25 minutes ago too.. filed 01/22. Anyone know how long after accepting til deposit?

My NYS was accepted early last week, but it has not been approved yet. When I check it says they have received it but have no further information at the time (or something along the lines of that). I don’t believe I have ever gotten NYS before Federal.

I was accepted as well on Friday. Still no approval. My NYS refund usually comes a few weeks after Federal. We’ll see what happens this year…
