      I filed 1/19 & accepted 1/22 This morning i check the nys refund & i got a message saying ” We recieved your return & it may require further review. This may result in your NYS return taking longer to process than your federal. No further info” What does that mean because usually in the past they always said you will get a letter. But not this time. I filed my W2 & a 1099 G for my unemployment.

          My sisters and mine both say that too! I think a lot of people will have that this year.

              I just checked my New York State Taxes and I also have the same message.

                I got this message last year. I had to verify my ID and was able to do it online. I know a couple other people who also got it but then updated to approved and got their DDD so it could go either way. Good luck.

                    Hi Marie,

                    I got that message last year and received my refund about two weeks after the return was accepted. Think it might just be a standard response they give people.
