Hi all.. new here.
Filed 2/2 joint. HRB
Accepted 2/2.
1 bar WMR.Got hubbys tax trans and it continues to say ‘no record found/ no taxes filed this year’ for 2018. As I have read, some are starting to update.
Does anyone trully know whats going on for some of us stuck with these non-existant tax returns on 2018 transcripts as posted? As with everyone here, we (Fam n I) are in literal limbo until we get the refund back…(.will post this in another topic also)
Good luck to alll!

Still waiting on my Daughters return, all bars and info disappeared and has the “will have a date when available” and topic 152. For 2 days now. Can not get her transcripts but, as with others with that message, hoping for the best for her return to update this weekend.

You might be a weekly then and they could have posted the blank ones on 2/9 (Friday). Maybe you will see an update this Friday with them completed. Keep us posted with what you find out and if you get an update!

Oh, ok thanks! they were available to me 2/10 the first time. Hopefully updates soon. My son gets his DDD tomorrow.
Don’t understand what Rhyme or Reason the IRS uses to process taxes? Feels like they all pull one of our returns from a proverbial ‘hat’ in the morning 🤔

If your transcripts are showing up even though they are blank you don’t need to refile. It just means they are processing.
I don’t think there is a way to tell when they first post unless you were checking daily and they went from n/a to the 2018 link you click on to see them.
Mine were blank for about a week and just updated with info today and my Return transcript became available .

When did your blank transcripts post do you know what day?Probably either Tuesday or Friday.
The daily/weekly thing can change from year to year.

Gandy that means they have your return and are processing it. It will be blank until you get your next update (most likely Friday it sounds like?). I had transcripts with all 0.00 until this morning and then it updated. Before then it just said the basic info and at the bottom no return filed. My wage transcript still says no return filed 🤷♀️
Army Mama
I remember seeing something in an earlier post about HRB had to resubmit some of the returns filed and were giving people claim numbers. Did you get an email from them saying your return was accepted? You might still call them if the IRS doesn’t help you. -

Oh I just thought your account one for 2018 was blank! Darn it! Well keep an eye out Friday and see if you get anything posted that day. They only post them on Tuesday and Friday mornings I believe. If not you might call them and see what’s going on. I’m surprised you don’t at least have a blank one but it could be because they are behind.

Nope ! The only one that is 2018 available to click on is wage and income – and I click on it and says no return filed for 2018 ? Account and and return say n/a no 2018 anywhere ? I’m so confused ?????? All the others years are there and I can click on them !!!!!

Gandy,
Good to know! Mine have been daily for the last 2-3 years and weekly before that so I’m not entirely sure how they decide all of that and I think it can change from year to year but again I don’t know why it does.Hopefully you get a Friday update and can share with everyone! 🤞

I just checked my old transcripts and I have been weekly so should update this weekend. I imagine that is the majority of us who are waiting for movement.

Hey army Mama
Do you know what day your blank transcripts showed up?I didn’t pay too much attention to mine until I realized they were there so I’m thinking they posted last Tuesday and then I got an update today. Did yours happen to post last Friday?
Wondering if that might tell you if you are a daily or weekly and when you might be able to expect the next update to them.

Mine where like that for a little over a week and just updated this morning. I filed 1/30 and was accepted 1/31. Hopefully yours will update soon. Do you know what day your blank transcripts were available? Might give some insight as to if you are a daily or weekly update.
