I have not received anything from the Govt thus far. I do not owe the government any money. I filed my taxes in early January. H&R Block e-filed. According to my transcript, my taxes were filed on 2/17/20. The dreaded 570 code is also on there. I contacted the IRS and a representative indicated I had a hold for a 45 day review. She also said that the hold would expire on 4/9/20. Then, I would either have my DD refund or I would receive a DD date.

This discussion took place prior to the Zombie Apocalypse. I still have not received any updates, no letters, literally nothing. I did check the Stimulus page, checked eligibility. It said I was eligible. I went ahead a reentered my bank account info. Now the update reflects you are eligible, we will give you a date of payment when we have one… or something of that nature.

Anyone else having problems like this? I plan on contacting the IRS and a tax advocate service as soon as they are available again. I actually sent an email through a web page portal on the irs.gov website… under resolve an issue section maybe. Anyway, can anyone provide any insight on this nightmare?

@tonybranko, from what I’ve been reading, it’s not true that the IRS is taking calls yet — at least, not so far since they returned to the processing centers Monday. The only division taking calls is for IDV. I don’t know what will be the case this Monday.

Dude… this is freaking unreal. Based on some of the feedback on here, I guess the IRS is taking calls again. That will be my mission on Monday. So frustrating… the one year I actually spend the money before I actually had it and all this crap happens. SMH…. uugggghhhhh!!!

I forgot to rectify my Health insurance/Marketplace 1095 form. It changed by tax return by $30. I haven’t been able to reach anyone and haven’t gotten anything updated online since the very beginning of March. I did get my stimulus check (always use direct deposit). Just seems like it’s going to take months and months to be resolved.
