Here’s my update that I wanted to post to relevant forums:

Updates for me this morning! WMR still shows one bar in the app but I now have access to my Account transcript that is filled out. Before it was just listed with 0.00 and an as of date of 2/25/19.

Now it is showing the three codes:

          150: tax return filed
          806: W2 or 1099 withholdings
          766: Credit to your account
The 846 code is not listed.

My Account Balance shows my refund amount and my as of date still says 2/25/19.

My cycle code is 20190702 so I am a daily. My date next to the cycle code shows 3/4/19.

Last year my cycle code was 20180803 and the date by that was 3/13/18 but my 846 code had a refund date of 2/26/18. Looks like our return started processing a week earlier this year and I was kept as a daily.

My return Transcript has been N/A until today as well so that’s finally available and so is the record of Account transcript. Wage transcript is still blank and still shows no return filed so I’m guessing this updates later.

I have the ACTC credit and college credits.

Filed 1/30 with HRB and accepted 1/31. My blank transcripts became available at some point last week but did not completely update until this morning.

Hopefully this means WMR movement this week since I’m PATH.

I see quite a few of you have education credits. Those statements don’t get reported until February from my experience. Your return can’t be processed until they receive the forms from the schools. And I do believe those credits aren’t paid until after 2/15. If you populated those numbers without a 1098-t, that’s a great way to get audited. Or if you claimed it past the maximum allowed years. I screwed up 1 year by filing without waiting for a form because I didn’t think it would matter. It matters. And I apologize for being a downer but I lived that crap. And this year I did everything right and got the path message within like 3 days. The IRS is not slow or backed up. Yes, you can be resequenced if you file and something doesn’t match.

To be clearer, you should see a change from one bar within 5 days. Path updates to path with no bars. Letter signs are one bar, tt152, no bars, 1 bar, no bars back and forth because it’s trying to process but something is missing. Something reported to the IRS that was not reported by the filer or reported by filer that was not filed with IRS. Pretty simple. Then there’s id verify. I have yet to figure that one out. Processing is automated by computer. It checks to make sure things match. No match, no process.

If you’re going to get a letter in the mail it will look just like that and they will never acknowledge a letter until you call the number on the letter with the reference number. Typically, returns without special credits like eitc, actc, education loans will be processed in 10 days or less. More like 7.

having one bar on wmr doesn’t mean you are getting a letter that means the IRS has accected your tax return and its being processed… when the refund get approved or even if there is an offset of some sort it will move to the next bar which means refund approved and that bar will give you a ddd.. And @ army mama it doesn’t matter what u pic its going to show u the same transcripts… you want to look at the account transcript that will show your processing date

This is a stupid question? But when I go to look at my trans online ? What should I put when it ask me why I need them ? For federal ? Or student loan reasons ? I am so confused ?

My situation is exactly the same.
                        Filed 1/31
                        Accepted 1/31
                        WMR 1 bar TT 152
Transcripts Able to view Account on 2/8
Only says As of Feb 25, 2019 No return filed

I couldn’t even access them before then, so there is some movement. I think I was just re-sequenced. I have no Path credits. I was re-sequenced last year twice. There were no issues, just kept getting pushed back a cycle. I have no offsets. I know that I have been weekly for the past 5 years. Usually able to order transcripts on a Friday, WMR update on Saturday, DD on the following Wed. There is no rhyme or reason to the way the IRS works, but I won’t panic unless I get a weird code or something.

I’m just thankful we are not in the group of 1/22 filers that seem to have gotten the 1541 delayed message recently or the early filers that got the 9001 code.

I’m thinking no codes or messages is a positive and it’s just taking a little longer. Hopefully we get a good update soon.

Maybe we got resequenced? I’m not sure entirely what that means but from what I’ve read about the blank transcripts and the lack of updating this could be a possibility. Not sure what causes a resequencing either.

                              Same here!

Filed 1/30 with HRB online and accepted 1/31. We have ACTC and college credits. Have had 1 bar since the day after we were accepted. Not sure when Wage and Account Transcripts popped up for 2018 but they are all 0.00 and says a date of 2/25/2019 at the top for the “as of” date. Says no return filed at the bottom so I’m thinking they are still processing. Tax Topic 152 still shows as well. No letters or odd codes. It’s only been 10 days since we were officially accepted so I think it’s a bit premature to worry or assume we are getting letters in the mail. I think they are just behind because of the shut down and I am hoping and praying if it shuts down again this week that we get our returns processed before that happens.

I have been looking but I have yet to see anyone explain the blank transcripts with the as if future date showing and what that means. Obviously our returns have been filed if we have a WMR status but maybe it just hasn’t updated there yet?

I hear ya, I was responding to Sara saying that since we r at one bar then we have a letter coming. I agree with u that I believe they just have not processed us quite yet. I think there r quite a few just like us. A hurry up and wait situation.

                                  Gandy ,

Thank goodness we are not the only ones ☹️. I’m sorry you are waiting too . I am hoping we are not flagged or something odd ? Ours is the same old stuff as it always is . We pay a lot of money to have ours done right . So I can’t believe we have to Id verify ? We have our ids copied when we walk thru the door ? Ugh , this is so frustrating. Last year we filed on the 6 th of February and had ours back by the 17 th ? Now we have no movement in 11 days ? Are your trans showing no return filed ? Maybe we just haven’t had any one look at them yet ? Who knows why tho ??? How would we assume a letter when we have no codes or no trans ? That doesn’t make any sense ?

I think assuming we have a letter coming is alittle bit of a knee jerk reaction. I was also accepted 1/31 and have had no movement on wmr or transcripts. I think most of us r still just fine, we just have to wait for processing to finish. Seems like every year is alittle different but usually works out.

Path message means refund approved. Stuck on one bar means you will get a letter in the mail approximately 1 month after you were accepted. Don’t bother calling because they can’t and won’t tell you anything. Just wait for the letter.

I filed my husbands for him 1/25 he got accepted the same day. Still no movement or nothing but my daughters got hers already and I switch to path. So I’m kinda confuse too
