NO 971??

      Anyone else who got 570 NOT get a 971? I don’t have one and even though I talked to a rep at IRS today (whom I dont believe BTW) I haven’t received a letter for review or any other communication. 570 popped up just after valentines day, same time as 1541 on WMR. Just want to see who else has ONLY the 570.

            I’m just super bummed because amended takes soooo much longer 😭 the TA said I wouldn’t hear from here again until April 15th if there is even an updated by then.

              @Andrea mine is the same issue, I mistakenly over reported my income so I’m actually due back even more than my original refund. If the TA says to amend I would do it. Some people on here have even provided the amended docs to the TA and they take care of it. Not sure if that’s your case but I would ask.

              I already sent my amendment but I haven’t even talked to my TA yet. I’m hoping they can step in and move things along rather than waiting (16 weeks for a 1040X to process)

                I don’t have the 971 either but just received a letter today informing me of the review. i filed mid January 20190605 both credits. Have had no update to transcript in weeks.

                was told I’m on the 570 code because my wages and withholding do not match. Assigned a TA today, she said to amend but the letter i just received says to do nothing, so I’m not sure what to do at this point.
