No 2018 filed, help.

1. I’m seeing different stuff all over the place. One saying the treasure said If you didn’t file 2018 you won’t get the stimulus. Said Vaugly.

2. Where can I get my 2018 W2’s coz I don’t have them.

3. Again no one has info If you
A. Didn’t file 2018
B. Filed 2019, one bar, processing, accepted but not approved.
Woud you get stimulus ?

All this whole this is doing is driving me crazy, and that’s why I didn’t even file 2018, so many years in a Row filing an appropriate return, only to see the money year(s) later.

Richard, I hope I can set your mind at ease. You’ve filed a 2019 return. That’s the IRS’s first choice for determining your economic impact payment status. Your processing does not have to be complete — based on seeing others here report that their EIP is pending even though processing of their return and refunds are frozen — in order to get the EIP. And even if your return must be fully processed, the EIP will remain available for the rest of 2020.
