No 152 Message, Bars, Only Processing. Bad sign?

Hi guys. I filed 1/29. My boyfriend got a PATH message on his return and he got EITC. He also got money from college. For me, I had one w-2 and college on there. I got the EIC.

My refund was approved the same day I applied. All it shows now is a processing message. The bars are gone. No 152 message. No Path Message. Just that my return is processing and I’ll be updated when a date is available.

I’ve never had this happen and this is the first time I get a return later than the first week of February. I have no date or information. It still shows the refund amount on the side in WMR.

I know EICT has to be held until Friday, but wouldn’t I get a path message or something? Why is it that just says processing? I’m worried this is bad. Anyone else with a similar situation?

This is so irritating. I just want an update and my tax documents won’t register my student loan account online so I have to get them mailed. But there’s no point because it says it’ll be here in five days. However, five days will be the 21 day mark so there’s no point. I’m stressed. My mom and my boyfriend both have PATH messages. I’m the only one in the house with this stupid processing error.

Had one bar until about 2/2 then receive message refund is still processing and will be given a date when available and all my information is still showing on the side. Oh and by the way they did change my status from head of house to single not sure why because I am the head the only adult in my home taking care of my senior in high school. Just waiting it out.

Could take 9weeks. For it to be done.it sux i didnt mess up on my return or anything was so lucky to be randomly selected for id verification

Does ID verification mean an extra long hold? I may call when they open to find out if this is the same.

I had same and a very nice lady at irs actually looked for me And i was informed that i was on hold pending id verification.

I’ll try calling. However, don’t they usually not give you any information until 21 days has passed?

You need to call the IRS next week. I filed and got accepted on 1/29 and mines went to path that same Saturday.
