😆 Everyone’s complaining about 2/24 DDD.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
I understand people who don’t even have a DDD yet or people who has a Dd and it’s passed that date.
But if you’re the 24th then wait until the 24th.
What if taxes were frayed like last year?
You CANNOT count on your taxes. You never know what can happen. -

I don’t think H&R Block is to blame here. I understand wanting & needing your money, but if you have a DD date, then the tax preparer has done their job.

Honestly there’s no nerve or issue. They literally give you a direct deposit date. It will be there on that day. To expect it any earlier or have such negative attitude is just like a spoiled child. If it’s not there by midnight tomorrow then I would understand the upset feeling. People need to grow up and be patient at LEAST until the date that it says you’ll recieve it. -

Exactly I think anybody would have right to be nervous especially with the bad reviews and mistakes sbtpg makes yearly. If you look it up on google you can see the many sbtpg complaints from taxpayers not getting the refunds by DDD date with no resolution for weeks maybe longer. When I call myself it says my ssn is invalid but somehow I’m able to login to the website still.

If you are getting a Tax refund it is money owed to you by the US gov. Do not let the want to be know it alls tell you how to wait how long to wait or what to do while wait. Its your money and it is being held. The nerve! @ThatGuy710 @Natt26

Plenty of blame to go around. Could b irs, financial institution, tax preparer. TT, ddd 2/22 – chase. DD hit 2/19. In all my yrs they never deposit early. I suppose they FINALLY trust me. Honestly, probably due to Presidents day. If they’d waited, I’d receive it today (after ddd) if I you know Chase, they are dot every i cross every T. My son – H & R, ddd – 2/24. Nothing so far. I always use free version. No fees/advance! No dealing w sbtp. Good luck, it’s coming!

😂 just like last year and the year before, when it comes to tax returns all you can do is be patient. Quit blaming the company you filed with and blame the source. The IRS said at the time of filing that they still had 20+ million returns from last year to file plus they cut their staff by 25% due to funding. So, that’s the IRS telling us with excuses that we’re going to see delays again this year.

If it says ddd 2-24.. then you should expect it that day at soonest. People are starting to get real spoiled about these returns. They gave you a date. Now patiently wait as I and everyone else should be.

Gotcha – I’m sure you’ll get an update by Friday hopefully. -

@TJ I agree. I don’t have one for this year yet. My trans still had as of 12/20/2021 with last years advanced CTC payments. So I’ve not even been entered in yet. WMR one bar though.
Anyhow, that’s another thread.

I see – looks like what you’re experiencing is directly through irs. You haven’t made it far enough yet maybe. What is your cycle code? -
February 23, 2022 at 12:14 am #4515682
@TJ I used irs efile, filed 2/9. WMR one bar. Transcripts still NA.

& it’s better to pay fees upfront I’m assuming.
-
February 22, 2022 at 11:45 pm #4515670TJ
Looks like those who used irs free efile and liberty tax had their refunds deposited earlier than most other providers.

What HR block has been shit for years now. I used them from 2010-2016 and I never once received my refund early. Mine always came on the anticipated ddd. But you never know you might get lucky I have seen others get theirs early it just never happened to me during those years.
-
February 22, 2022 at 11:36 pm #4515664
Once it’s sent to the irs it’s in their hands. Which provider you use has nothing to do with it.

Go with TurboTax next year sounds like they are having way better luck getting early deposits😂

Yall need to relax. Youll have it by your ddd. This assumpttion that its OWED to you early is just that. A assumption save your vitriol for tge 25th if your money isnt in.
