@flipflops2017
No your account being overdrawn should not affect timing of a deposit. They will just take whatever amount you are overdrawn out of the deposit and your remaining balance will be whatever is left. -

I have not received mine either. Why is this deposit not happening as it should? I am overdrawn a bit from emergency medicine that I had to have. Would that cause a delay in my direct deposit?

Same here anyone get the eligible but no DD. I’m asking because I thought that me not having a DD was the problem but I see others with netspend and didn’t get stimulus yet either. Hopefully tomorrow aor like everyone else 3/17. Any other netspend card holders dealing with this?

No DD yesterday. I’ve called 3 times. At 11am the first representative told me an hour or two. Its almost noon on Sunday and still no DD. Who knows ? Maybe Monday ? AND People are not lying about their DD posting. My friend received her DD Friday early afternoon on her Green Dot Card. The only proof I have is that she come back from shopping back 3 times with an arm full with store bags. She was broke Friday morning and she’s Mrs. Funbucks in the afternoon ?. That’s proof enough for me.

March 12, 2021 at 11:12 pm #4470371Nevermind the refund, here\\\’s the stimulus
Unfortunately I don’t know how long it was pending (I’d assume no time at all) because it was already there when I looked. One time, my refund got held pending in my Netspend account until I called and verified my identity with Netspend, and then it went right through. Maybe try that if it’s still pending in the morning?

LOL I know, I was thinking of arguing with them but I figured why bother. They’ll have their money within the day and feel like an ass anyway.

Ohhhh @Faith “You’re not getting a deposit of $1400+ on a prepaid card 5 days before the checks are even out. ”
LMAO! Well me and a ton of other people with deposits in their accounts today disagree. :P Funds are release as soon as our bank received notice. IRS sent notice today and BAM….Deposit is there.

March 12, 2021 at 3:46 pm #4469888Nevermind the refund, here’s the stimulus
And I don’t even have my refund yet. I knew that was gonna happen.

Got mine at some point today. For some reason I didn’t get a notification but I checked anyway and there it was. I’m extremely surprised.

Faith, I Got My Refund has already verified that stimmies are dropping several hours ago. You don’t have to trust me, but you will be happy when you find out they’re right ;-)

@Rolex, our Netspend account is always in the negative, we only use that card to file taxes and Wells Fargo for our DD from our jobs. Each year it’s in the negative a few dollars for maintenance fees but we still ALWAYS get a DD. I’m not sure why it would matter if it’s in the negative or not.

The first stimulus I received dd to a TurboTax card. When the 2nd came, that card had a negative balance, so I was mailed a paper check. If some1 were to pay off a negative balance on a TurboTax/netspend card, would that account be eligible to receive the dd? And would the IRS still have that cards account info on file for me?

Uh huh. You’re not getting a deposit of $1400+ on a prepaid card 5 days before the checks are even out. I talked to the IRS this morning about my daughter’s part of the stimulus money and I was told nobody can receive anything until they have their guidelines.
-
March 12, 2021 at 3:04 pm #4469846Winter
Because that is the ddd per IRS, banks, and credit unions.
-
March 12, 2021 at 2:57 pm #4469839Grace
@winter
how do you know it is the 17th? how do you know what date is on the “check” when it is direct deposited into your account? Just wondering…. -
March 12, 2021 at 2:55 pm #4469837Caali
If you follow the news, they made a statement saying they would start hitting bank accounts this weekend. I hope everyone starts receiving their taxes and stimulus soon.
-
March 12, 2021 at 2:52 pm #4469833Caali
Stimulus payments are hitting accounts already. I received mine at 1:30 this afternoon on my netspend card. I also already got my income tax on Wednesday. I know several others who have received or have a pending in their accounts.

Faith – take a step back. Thousands have already gotten their stimmy today. If you have a traditional bank, you’ll be waiting til the 17th which is the date on the check. Prepaid cards and some credit unions have been dropping for the past several hours.

@Faith, I wish there was a way to post a screenshot to this forum, I know people that have it pending already. Be blessed babygirl.

The IRS hasn’t even finished reviewing the guidelines for this stimulus check. It won’t be in anybody bank account today and if they say it is, they are lying.
Unless you post proof that your stimulus check has hit AND cleared your bank account, it’s not there. The IRS can’t send you money they don’t know even have guidelines for yet. 😑😂😂
