NetSpend newbie seeking NetSpend veterans

This is my first time using a prepaid NetSpend card for my refund I have used Green Dot before but am seeking information solely from previous netspenders. I was curious to see if there was a constant in previous years pertaining to your projected DDD and what day you actually received your funds as well as if anyone received NetSpend DD on a Sunday. If you had a DDD of 2/22 when would you based on previous years expect to see your funds on your card?

Netspend usually will deposit on Sunday night, but Monday is a holiday…so funds WILL NOT post until Monday night….Sorry you guys

I went back and looked and the last two years I revieved my refund on my Netspend card the day before my DDD. Last year my DDD was 2/22 and I recieved it on 2/21, the year before my DDD was 2/23 and I received it on 2/22.

I have had my refund dd on a Saturday before. But they dd 2 days before the date.

If you don’t owe any gees it’ll hit tomorrow night but if you owe fees it won’t hit until the day before because republic bank holds it up

Last year I had a DDD of 02/22, my NetSpend had a pending deposit listed above the blue bar on the webpage showing the Deposit Pending, I called NetSpend and spoke to a customer service rep and asked about it, they reviewed my account and posted it right then.

So, I have been checking since yesterday to see if this would be the case this year. NetSpend ALWAYS deposits earlier than my DDD.

Last year I got mine in the 16th. I dont know what the DDD was supposed to be bc my WMR never updated. But i got it ealier the most ppl I know.

Last year I used netspend and my ddd was 2/21/2018 but my refund hit my card on 2/16/2018 @ about 5ish est time

I was a GreenDotter(Accountnow) until I met Netspend three years ago !! Both Services release funds days before the initial deposit .

I’ve always received my deposits for federal the day following the Holiday . But I am still hoping for sooner . Been on this forum for three years as well . I was new to Netspend and stumbled across it through a google search . lol .

More Netspend information (Personal experience)
my deposits always hit at 10:30am , 2:38pm , or 8:41pm (Pacific Standard Time)

This will be my first year having my refund deposited to my NetSpend, but NetSpend consistently deposits paychecks to my account two days earlier than the actual release date, whereas my old bank held them until mid morning the day of. Here’s hoping the same holds true for tax refunds. SBTPG generally doesn’t hold the funds for longer than it takes to pull the TurboTax fees, so it’s likely that you’ll see the money on your NetSpend shortly after SBTPG has it.

I have used NetSpend for 4 years now. I went back and checked, two years I received my deposit 3 days before the date and one year 5 days before DDD. One of those years it was a Sunday night.
