      Anyone know how long it takes to receive you MS state refund through DD? Since we’ve lived in MS this is the first time we’ve filed earlier and electronically. We’ve done paper checks for the last three years. Our refund amount is showing up as a negative amount in the TAP thing. It’s been that way since last Thursday. Filed on the 25th and it was accepted by MS state early on the 26th. The website says 10 days under the status it said allow 90 for review. Which is crazy. Contradictory information from different places and of course, I can’t get anyone on the phone. My sisters lived in Arkansas and theirs took less than a week!

          It showed up as a negative balance. Did they take your refund or was it processed and put on your card because mine shows a negative payment amount and I dont understand why… saids payed today but nothing to show on card????

            Update: I called the MS state refund 24 hr line and it says my refund was processed on 2/20/16 and I should receive my DD within 7-10 days!! I expected my refund to be delayed because my identity was verified.

              My SO woke up this morning to find that his MS state return had been deposited. Today, I received a letter from MS stating that I needed to verify my identity. After completing the exam, it said my return should be processed in 4-6 days.
