How many people went from the path message to the “being processed” message, no tax topic, and your refund amount shows this morning?
How many of you that had that WMR update checked your transcripts to NOT find an 846 code?
If you do not have an 846 code but your WMR updated to that message, what is your transcript cycle code?
Trying to see if there is a pattern to who got 846 codes posted and who did not but still got the WMR update.
My cycle code is 20190702 (daily). 846 code posted for me this morning with a 2/22/19 date.

@army mama
Wmr kept saying I was everting my info wrong (and I wasn’t) so I figured something was wrong and called IRS. They told me I needed to verify (I’ve been a stay at home mom and haven’t filed a return since 2014) and that they sent out a letter but to my last known address where I haven’t lived at for 5 years. They said I needed to go in to my local office and verify my identity. I’ve never ordered my transcripts before but someone said I should. I first got them last week which said 20190605. I’m hoping that since I was able to order them it means they’re processed with no other problems. -

I had to verify my identity on January 31st. They told me processing would be 9 weeks but I’m able to get my transcripts. My cycle date is 20190605. I’m wondering since I’m able to order my transcripts if that means I’m good to go. There’s also a date next to my cycle date that says 2-25-2019, what does that mean?

I have different dates on my tax transcript- is this bad? It shows 2/18/19 and 4/15/19. Also, I have three codes: 150, 806 and 768. No 846. Does anyone know if these are bad or good? I’m on pins and needles because I had to id verify and got audited last year. I updated from PATH to “being processed” message overnight.

Does anybody know if WMR might update overnight tonight/Sunday morning? Or does it only update on Saturday mornings? Wondering for those that can’t view their transcripts…

@Nada
That seems right …that it’s hit or miss. No real pattern because I just saw some say with, 2019/05/05 and processing date of 2/18, they do not have the 846 code on their trans. So who knows…it’s up in the air. -

@Jay
Ty in the same boat. I saw quite a few of us 0505 people get 846 on igmr fb. Seems to be hit or miss for both daily and weeklies. But those who don’t have 846 don’t despair transcripts update until 4 pm est

Taken from refund y’all dot com:
Everybody’s Where’s My Refund? statuses changed back to bars or a Processing message because the PATH hold came to an end at 11:59:59 on February 15th.
During the 2018 tax season, some taxpayer that had access to view transcripts could see their 846 Refund Issued dates on their account transcripts as early as Friday, February 16, 2018. The first Direct Deposit Dates started pouring in at 3:30 am early Saturday, February 17, 2018, with an update for the majority of early filers with daily and weekly accounts with 2/22 Direct Deposit Dates. The majority of early filer accounts that were approved and held under the PATH Hold updated Saturday, February 17, 2018, with Direct Deposit Dates of 2/22. Affective starting in 2018 all major tax refund updates for both daily and weekly accounts seen most updates on Saturday mornings because of the c-freeze hold on their accounts. The hold forces both daily & weekly accounts claiming EIC and/ or ACTC credits to get their final Direct Deposit Date updates on Saturdays. Starting the following week Saturday, February 24, 2018, the IRS returned to normal processing of daily and weekly accounts, but if you claimed either EIC and/or ACTC those refunds only saw the final updates with direct deposit dates updated on Saturday Mornings.
In 2018 the IRS said that the majority of the early filers would see an update by Feb. 24, 2018. It took three batches of updates Friday, Feb. 16, Saturday, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 24 to push out the large number of early filers returns that were approved and held by the PATH ACT Hold.
The PATH message this year reads that the majority of early filers held under the PATH hold should see an update By Feb. 23, 2019. So if the IRS follow the same schedule they did in 2018. There is a good chance this Saturday morning is going to be big days for updates.
Transcripts should start updating throughout the day Friday and some should start to see 846 Refund issued codes showing up on their transcripts.

I hope so! I never checked transcripts before I got my refund like I did this year so I’m not sure how they’ve updated in the past.

Crisp
So your a weekly with your code ending in 05. I bet you see WMR update with a DDD before your transcripts update with the 846 code and date since they won’t update again until next Friday for you to see.I do however believe the system has an 846 code assigned to you or your WMR wouldn’t have updated. But since your transcripts don’t update daily you didn’t see the 846 update to them today.

I hope your theory is right! It does make sense and I’ve read of folks getting there DD before seeing any updates on their transcripts and or WMR.
Luckily my state updated this morning showing a DD of 2/22

@jessica I hope your right. I have a very urgent need for this $ this week. It taking so long this year already cost me $1100 this past week.

February 16, 2019 at 8:55 am #4273428Crisp?
My cycle code is 2019/05/05
ACTC
Processing date 2/18/1019
Was able to order transcripts online the first time I checked, on 2/6/2019
As someone noted yesterday, after noon yesterday I started getting the excess attempts message even tho I only checked it a couple times.
Had PATH message until midnight last night. Then it changed to processing.
For a couple hours when I tried to check my transcripts the text did not come through my phone.
Eventually it did but still got no 846 code.
Now I sit and wait for something to change. -

My overall guess is those with cycle codes ending in 05 got the updated WMR messsge but didn’t see a transcript update. This would be due to being a weekly update and the cycle codes that end in 05 usually only post online updates for transcripts on Friday.
Has me thinking WMR might update with your DDD before your transcripts update to show the 846 code.
The code is there, I just don’t think the system is set up to update your transcripts again until next Friday and by that point you may already have your DDD on WMR from the Wednesday update that system does or even your actual DD posted on 2/22/19 if you were assigned the same 846 date that us “dailies” got this morning.
No clue how accurate this guess is but it will be interesting to see.
