Has anyone faxed over the missing insurance docs 1095 A and 8962 and gotten any updates yet?? I faxed mine 4 weeks ago and no sign of it anywhere. IRS says just wait but I am having major trust issues with the whole fax system. Like..who faxes anymore? It’s archaic. Upload portal would make more sense am I right??

I still do not have the offset amount refunded to me or my unemployment yet, hopefully soon though.

@SandraA I’m hoping you are right! I will keep you posted, let me know if you see anything please.

As far as I know, my Tax Advocate states that they should refund the fees systematically.
I also contacted TurboTax and they said the IRS should be refunding any offsets they took associated to PTC.

@SandraA
They took my fees from the 8962 out and today my tax advocate called me to tell me that they did not waive them and that my refund was correct, have you heard anything about yours? -

I faxed my 8962 ad 1095A forms on April 5th, and I spoke with IRS in mid June. They confirmed they received it, and was told to call back in 2 weeks. I called 2 weeks later and was told they’re extremely delayed and that there’s no ETA when the refund will be issued. We’re now in July! When I check the WMR online, still shows as “still processing”.

@Self I have dates almost identical to yours and I’m getting the same crap… need more time…. REALLY? I can’t believe what we’re being put through for something that doesn’t even apply anymore. Sooooo Frustrating

Filed 2/12. No movement so I called 3/10 abd agent said I needed 8682/1095. It was faxed the same day…..notta since…my wage transcripts showed up about a week or so ago…again notta since….
I’ve called many times to only hear “we need more time” crap…..
The American people deserve better and should all sue…taxpayer bill of rights is a bunch of shit…. -

I checked today and no movement on mine yet so I still do not have a DDD for my refund. Yeah they better still give me the payment for the reconciliation as I over payed and am owed about 1700.00 just from the 8962. I based my application before I was laid off due to covid. @sandra I am still happy to hear that you did get your payment date.

The refund excluded the ACA 8962 Reconcile something that was waived with the March 11th Recovery Act. I filed before the law was passed on 1/30/21. They still should reimburse what they offset as there was supposed to be no PENALTY.

My Tax Advocate helped me finally get my return posted to the Master File. However, they offset the fees for the ACA for 3 months. According to my TurboTax results (updates) and the March 11th Recovery Credit they were not supposed to impose any penalties. No notices were sent. Called and h/u after waiting 30m with the IRS.

@Debblstir I just saw a post today where someone else had their wage transcript the other day and got their DDD today. Fingers crossed for you and I that we get the same news!

@ Belli same thing happen to me. I check my wage and that’s the only thing that’s changed. Everything else the same. Hopefully something changes for us

I tried calling all last week and could not get through. I checked my transcripts this morning and my “wages and income” one now has information listed in it. All the others are still blank and my as of date is still March 15th. However that is the most progress I have see so far so I am hoping that the rest will update soon as well. @sla921 I am happy for you that all of yours updated and that you should be seeing a refund soon!

They have my forms and posted return to Master File. As Of Date is 6-21-21. I still do not have a DDD though and my account has 570. Account has not been adjusted to credit back the recovery act penalty. However, all 2021 fields have data now. Waiting for them to issue my refund. Tax Advocate has a scheduled call back on 6/9.

WOW, another 8 weeks! That is crazy, I am at my 10 week point from them receiving my 8962 forms and I am going to call today. I will let you know what they tell me. 4-5 months is ridiculous, we all need this money.
-
June 2, 2021 at 10:57 am #4488932
I am fuming!! I just got off the phone. IRS said has processed my 8962 docs on May 18-20.
They said I had to wait additional 8 weeks to get my refund 7/27 – 6mos???? WTH … This is beyond ludicrous. They received docs 3/8. This is 4.5 mo post docs.
I cannot wait until end of July. I have been processing since 2/11/2021. 8 more weeks post 5/18/21. 6.5 mo post accept. Not acceptable.!!!

Got ahold of a person yesterday (9 weeks since faxing 8962/1095). And she had NO information at all. Just kept saying they are behind blah blah blah

I called today and they told me that they are able to confirm that my paperwork (8962 and 1095A) were received. They let me know to allow a little more time to process the forms but that someone had it and was working on it. My WMR tool and transcripts have yet to update but just knowing that they actually have my paperwork is a small victory for me. After having no information for so long its a total relief that they are working on it. Fingers crossed that it will not be to much longer.

TA has not given an ETA. I have left several messages after faxing forms.
I waited 2 hours on their express line and they said the TA has a scheduled call back to me on 6/9. That there were nothing else in the notes.
I am going on 14 weeks waiting for a refund. This is ridiculous.
-
May 19, 2021 at 5:56 am #4487656
Have you hear back from the TA? Did they say how long it will take?
-
May 18, 2021 at 12:20 pm #4487606
Wk 13 afer accepted and Wk 9 after faxing 1095A & 8962.
Had to re-fax forms to T/A including fax confirmation
T/A received everything and per TA line they will not follow up until 6/9/21 that is 4 mnths post acceptance and 12 weeks after faxing forms to IRS. This is totally ridiculous.
I am still N/A for 2020 return and no refund. As of Date on Acct T 2020 changed to 5/31 and on 2019 return 5/10. Master file 2020 still shows no return filed. WMR – Still being processesed.

This is all crazy! While they trying to send refunds for unemployment taxes you would think they would get so the old refunds or the way first! This week is week 8 for me I’m pressing something comes soon my car is messing up 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Same here. Filed in early Feb. Received a letter mid march. Faxed 8962 and 1095 on March 22nd. And nothing yet. I called them a couple of weeks ago and they said “at least 8 weeks” well, TODAY is 8 weeks since I faxed it in and of course could not get ahold of anyone. Kept saying too many callers and hung up on me
-
May 16, 2021 at 7:17 pm #4487461
No updates yet either! I did call last week and they said I was out of the adjustments department whatever that means. Don’t know how much longer it will take though and they couldn’t tell me smh! Anybody else get told that?

Im still waiting as well and my as of date has not changed yet at all. Im still sitting at 3-15-2021 with no changes to WMR or transcripts. No one can tell me that they have received my 8962 and 1095A forms. I just keep getting told to wait it out. I filed in January and the forms were mailed/received in March.
-
May 10, 2021 at 1:29 pm #4486931
8962 and 1095-A were sent via fax the morning of 3/8/21. Have fax confirmation.
Account “AS OF” dates updated on 2020 to 05/03/21 and on 2019 to 05/10/21. Nothing else has changed. NOTHING…..
My 2020 Return has not been posted & still says “No Return On FIle”. Received no stimulus & had to use savings for medical expenses and increased utilities. IRS only says “WAIT” & opened a case with Tax Advocate. Had to re-fax all forms. :-(

I mailed mine on 3/09. Still no movement. I spoke with agent last week who was at least honest and admitted they were still working on 2019 and that I shouldn’t expect return until September or October at the earliest…

Has anyone on here that did fax it over received their taxes? I filed in January accepted 2/12. Faxed my 1095 over March 13th. No movement on WMR and when i call i keep hearing the same thing. Give us time. How much time do you need????

Still waiting for IRS to scan in my Form 8962 and 1095A.
I spoke to the IRS last week and they weren’t very helpful. I am going to attempt a phone call again today but as of now my transcripts show no movement. -
April 19, 2021 at 7:42 pm #4484703
I saw where we don’t even have to pay back anymore due to the American Rescue Plan so we should have just been processed as is. This is crazy.
-
April 19, 2021 at 10:59 am #4484637
Called again today. They have the forms (8962/1095A) they said but my return is still in pending status. They said “We are experiencing delays”… No ETA on when they will finish processing my return. Ridiculous it is now 9 weeks since being accepted. 6 weeks since faxing forms. 10 weeks next Monday.
I contacted my Congressman with this. They should process first in and first out not just let things sit there gathering dust. :-(
-
April 19, 2021 at 6:45 am #4484622
Anybody update yet? I faxed my info mid March and nothing yet. Now we don’t even have to pay the fees anymore because of the American Rescue Plan so there shouldn’t be a hold up anymore ugh!
-
April 16, 2021 at 9:19 am #4484338
Faxed all info on 3/8//21 before approval of RECOVERY ACT. Still nothing on refund; filed 1/30/21 and accepted 2/11/21.
It has been over 8 weeks since acceptance of taxes and almost 6 weeks since sending 8962/1095-A and still no refund & as of this morning transcripts still N/A. No stimulus either.

April 14, 2021 at 11:39 pm #4484198

-
April 13, 2021 at 6:16 am #4483891hectic_eclectic_mama
Sent mine certified mail and IRS received it March 15th and zero movement. Called IRS 3 separate times and was told each time be that Congress removed their time limits to get stuff done. Last IRS agent said it could be another 10 weeks or next year.
-
April 13, 2021 at 2:37 am #4483884
I faxed mine 3 weeks ago & my transcripts still says “no tax return filed” every time i speak with an irs rep they say they dont see it, but that it takes awhile for it to show up in their system, especially since a lot of their offices are closed. This is extremely frustrating honestly
-
April 10, 2021 at 11:26 am #4483460Traci
Only thing updated on mine is the As of Date. From March 15th to April 26th
-
April 9, 2021 at 12:07 pm #4483187
Faxed mine also and no movement since. A portal would be much better than the old fashioned fax machine. This waiting is the worst!
-
April 6, 2021 at 7:22 pm #4482225Traci
Faxed mine almost 4 weeks ago, don’t even know if they received it. Accepted on 2/11, this wait game is getting on my nerves too.
