ii got 2/24 ddd on transcript but calling that number got me sent to h&r then got hung up on. bank shows no incoming deposit, meta keeps transfering me to h&r and h&r has now told me up to 10-14 business days extra since i did direct deposit. im getting irate.

I refuse TurboTax if I need fees to come out. If doing myself filing free it’s fine. But bank they use for fees has some issues.

@lady yeah I know for some banks it is a bit of a risk from what I remember I was always told if it was from the treasury. That was different because that was about as close to guaranteed as you could get but I do agree with what you’re saying but I’m guessing it’ll be tomorrow. If you haven’t had your pizza by tomorrow let me know LOL

Haha yea I feel that however it does concern me that people who did not use TT are getting their refunds early like liberty tax. Somebody with a DDD of 2/24 already received their refund about an hour ago. I probably won’t be using TurboTax anymore. Hopefully everybody will receive good news shortly.

After what I read in don’t expect see it till maybe tomorrow. Didn’t know it’s sends out notes basically first then just day-days before your ddd sends money. Some banks release once they get notice but they take the gamble. I don’t gamble so I understand not releasing money before you get it. I honestly thought they sent money week prior but they don’t.

I’m not sure you can check the MetaBank site to see if your fees can be paid? I’ve seen people mentioning the SBT or whatever site but I’ve never seen somebody able to check Meta until these posts.

I’m sure we will have our refunds the 24th. Takes only 1-3 days send arch deposit.so even if it’s doesn’t send out till tonight they will have it Thursday

I used HR Block. Not happening again. Deposit date 2/24. They will hold the money till next Friday. The 25th because of Presidents’ Day. What’s the point on doing these tax places if u don’t get ur money early. Waste of time. They already got 400 from me now holding my money. Horrible just horrible

Meta bank changed from “received on Tuesday 2/22 and will be sent on Tuesday 2/22” to “received on Tuesday 2/22 and were sent to your bank on file” when I just called the automated line so hopefully I see a deposit soon 🙏🏾🤞🏾

What a joke this year with new bank & H&R never had a problem in 15yrs I’ve been with H&R. I complained to customer service @metabank then emerald card that they tell u to call when u ask about ur refund reads a whole paragraph about path act till 1st week of March smh. Ppl getting dd through other banks chime netspend etc. they are gonna lose a lot of customers this year. H&R should’ve never switched banks they can hold it 8-15 days it says that INSANE 🥺

Where do you think the 0% loan they give every year comes from they know they will have our money 3-5 days before and with millions if not billions in refunds sitting in their bank for only those few days guaranteed makes a good amount of interest.

@kristi i used HR but technically i guess i used Arvest bank since i had it set for direct deposit.. im thinking im gonna be changing banks cuz the bank is terrible at communicating, they always claim we know nothing about any deposit until before close the day it posts, and they always hold my refunds till 3 days after my DDD date. so sounds like ill be screwed till the 27th

I used JH. DDD 2/22. I called MetaBank today and she said they have my refund and it is processing. She said it won’t release to me until 2/22 but I’ll update when it does!
