      I really need to know the wait time to get a paper check if direct deposit info is not correct please help!!!!!

          I had this happen a couple years ago. They tried to send the direct deposit, and it was rejected by the bank. It took several days (about a week) before the irs acknowledged receiving the money back. I called just about everyday to check the status. Once they received it back, it took about 2-3 weeks for them to mail the paper check.

              I think they will just mail out the check and it’s like 7-10 business days. You’re WMR will update and probably eventually show that a paper check had to be mailed. Good luck! Prayers for the best!
