March Filers – who filed late late

This topic is just for those that filed late in March. I know there won’t be any info to be posted as of right now. I’m just getting ready for what’s to come. I know there are ppl that have been waiting months for there return and I sympathize with you. I’ve always gotten my return within months of filing an “early” return prior to last year. So this year I chose to play it safe thinking I might have a different outcome. I’ll keep those posted and vice versa.

I filed 3/20
So far only just one bar w/ the regular it has being processed mesg.

Updated this morning with DDD for 4/24. Filed/accepted on 3/25. Had 1 bar and TT152 with the “being processed” message up until April 1st, after the 1st all bars disappeared and the message changed to “still processing” along with TT152. I never called. No letters. Child credits. Last year i filed early Jan and ended up having to ID verify about 45 days after filing. Once i verified my ID i recvd a DDD approx 1 week later. I hope every1else gets an update/DDD very very soon bcuz i know from past experiences the waiting and unknown can drive u crazy. Good luck to all

Tbh I think they’re just behind. I filed on 3/ 14, accepted on 3/15. Somewhere around 3/25 my orange bar disappeared and I had the refund processing message along with TT152. My 21st day was 4/4. I called promptly at 7am on 4/5 got thru easily, no wait, spoke with a rep who let me know my refund would be deposited on 4/10. The orange bars reappeared on 4/6 this time showing refund approved. Refund deposited on the morning of 4/10. Hope this helps someone. I think they’re just a little behind. Hang in there.

Wondering if it’s unreasonably optimistic to hope for my refund by 4/15

@dr.tex smh sounds like the run around lol. I think the March filers will see a good turn around time as well. I remember in 16’ I filed 1/27/16 got accepted same day and got DDD on 2/13/16 for DDD 2/18/16. 18’ filed accepted 1/29/18 got DDD 2/17/18 for DD 2/22/18. So just from my experiences being a weekly account I probably won’t see WMR update until 4/13/19 Saturday morning (for us weeklys) to see a DD for 4/18/19. I’ve noticed being on here for some years that daily accounts do receive different DDD more so thru the week and weeklys just see DDD for Thursday’s for sure and I believe Friday’s

blu trust me you will have no worries…u filed late and you will probably get before most of us who filed in jan….just a fact

I check wmr just now and I am on one bar, I filed yesterday (3/27) and accepted today 3/28. I’m surprised though. It usually takes 4-5 days before wmr tells me anything, but like most of u stated, I usually file in February. This is my first year filing this late. Hopefully we do get a faster turn around time. Happy waiting!

sorry @impatientrefund I was off the computer for a while….the first letter was cp05 which tells u not a damn thing…very generic shit…and the second was id verify where u actually have to do something

whoever filed late you will have no issues…just the early filers…trust me…I filed two returns last year in march without issues…filed this year in jan. and have been waiting ever since… received two letters one day apart from each other but only knew about one of them

I also filed today and haven’t gotten accepted yet but last year I filed and accepted 1/29/18 approved 2/17/18 (Friday midnight into Saturday morning) for weekly accounts for DDD of 2/22/18 I actually got it a day early with Netspend. Turn around turn from accepted to getting approved w/ DDD took 20 days so I’m hoping for same or less turn around time. Will stay 4warned

I sent a paper return off and they finally started processing it on 3/19 so I’m with you guys. I had 1 bar and tax topic 152 for a couple of days then my bars and tax topic disappeared and it’s been on ‘still being processed’ so we shall what’s in store.
