Anyone get this as a ddd ? I called IRS today and first the lady said that PATH just lifted Feb 15 and it would be 21 days until I would get a deposit. Then she said that she would look into my account and said that my ddd would be March 9th. That is beyond 21 days and I have not seen anyone with that date. I just wonder if she was just trying to get me off the phone.
I filed mid January and was accepted 1/29, so I don’t get it.

I could be wrong but I think the vast majority of the people who answer calls at the IRS are just contracted call centers that take calls for various companies and answer basic questions. They usually are usually near minimum wage college kids etc and have to maintain a certain quota of calls they take per hour. That being said I’d take most things like that with a grain of salt.

I’m no expert but I think you’ll get the 2/26 DDD. I saw people who filed 2/9 and have DDD next week. She probably just wanted to get you off the phone.

Thanks- I figured I would be in the 26th batch, but will not update until tonight. I’ll just have to be patient and see what happens.
