Any news on NC? It says mine will be mailed on the 26th but then something about a letter with additional information. Does that mean I am not getting the check mailed after all. Confused due to everyone posting got theirs on 26th or before with 26th date.

I amended my taxes on May 12.
Yesterday May 28 I received my tax money.
No 3rd stimulus as of yet. The GMP date still says March 26. -
I’ve had a March 26th date and still continued not to change. Last week I finally filled out my 3911 form and faxed it to the IRS. Finally today GMP updated to May 28th! Let’s hope I shall see it next week! Anyone who has still not gotten theirs I advise to try and do it. There is no way to contact anyone from the IRS from my perspective. So must try new route!

I called early this morning like 7:00AM I was on hold for like 1hr but I did manage to speak to a live agent. My check happened to be returned back to the IRS so basically I was cancelled. So I updated my info, address since I moved, the lady said she is going to reissue my check so in about 4 weeks again. I called the 1-800-829-1040, keep in mind call as early as possible and explain what’s going on and the first person will transfer you. Hope this helps. Good Luck. -
@ HOUTON TX. I am starting to get frustrated. I filed my 2020 in February and my accountant determined that I owe IRS for 2020. I paid my balance immediately. In 3 days I mailed my check payment and it cleared quickly.
My GMP has not changed at all. From the very beginning, it says a mail date of March 26.
But up to today. I do not have any. I check informed delivery every morning and there is nothing. I do not know what to do. -

So, I finally received the update Friday of a new scheduled to be mailed by March 26 to May 17. I woke up this morning and got notification from my informed delivery from the USPS that I am FINALLY receiving my “paper check” sent by IRS today. I can’t believe it. ALL the hoops I had to jump through this unnecessary process when I should have been one of the FIRST to receive payment DD. At least for me it’s resolved. GL everyone else.

@LM, I already received my taxes and the amount that was given to me was more than what i filed for, They added an extra 500.
I am not sure if i should amend my taxes or just wait. I am asking because my GMP has changed from mail on the 26 to they will update with a DD date to account # XXXX.. So I want to know if amending my taxes is the right move or should I wait?? PLEASE HELP LM, ANYONE.. Thank you.. God Bless.. -
Got my EIP card today here in Los Angeles! I was going to try Tony’s method but then I heard that IRS had mailed out a million more payments last Thursday, so I decided to wait and see if mine was among them. Lo and behold, it was.
I hope everyone else gets their $$$ sooner rather than later.

Thank you LM! I had a march 26th date with no change. The 800 card didn’t work for me either so I amended my taxes,they were accepted with a few hours and 2 days later my mail date is now May 14th. So fingers crossed but I think that worked!

I had a gmp the 26th I call the 1 800 919 talk to a lady that was very nice she then put me on the line. With a guy that started my check trace for me in updated my information so when I call just talk nice to them in they will help u out so I just waiting for a new date on gmp he said could take up to 6 weeks but I will get a check reissued

@Leigh Can you clarify, you say “trace line” and then say that your account doesn’t exist when get ahold of someone. R U talking about IRS trace line or Metabank? I can’t make heads or tails who you are referring to. If you was told you was sent a check then you need to follow instructions to do a trace by sending in form 3911 which I also gave instructions how to do.

Got ahold of another trace line rep and was told I was in fact sent a check, they couldn’t tell me why the other rep told me I was sent a card, I asked if there was a march 26th glitch and they said no. No idea which rep I talked to was actually telling the truth, seems like they either don’t want to do their job or don’t know how.

So ours had a mail date of March 26. We WAITED and WAITED, and nothing ever arrived. I submitted a trace payment that usually takes up to 6 weeks. I then decided to see if maybe Amending our 2020 Taxes would help. I filed an Amendment it was accepted by the IRS the same day, and two days later, GPM was updated that we would receive DD. We received DD on 4/29.

I followed Tony’s instructions before I got ahold of the trace line and the automated machine said “I’m sorry but there is no account attached to the information you provided ” I had told the trace line rep this and they told me to call again, I’ve tried multiple times and I always get the same message after entering in my info, it’s like i don’t exist to them

@Leigh Also, you can’t just give your DD info and they will send it that way. Trust me I asked. They said that if issued an EIP debit card, that is the way it will be sent again, or however funds was “originally” sent. Since you already know that you was sent card, follow my instructions as stated in prior posts to get another one reissued.

@Leigh Follow my instructions on April 30th @11:23am post. This should get you a “live” person to speak with at MetaBank. I never had my previous card that was “supposed” to have been sent March 26th. You don’t need it. just follow the steps and you should get someone.

Got ahold of trace rep, they said they couldn’t help because I was sent a card and told me to call the 800 meta bank number, I told them I already have and the automated system said they dont have anything on file with my information, the rep told me to call again, I did and still nothing. I can’t talk to a live person for meta bank without knowing my card info. I can’t set up an account without the info too. Seems like there’s nothing I can do

I followed Tony’s instructions for the Metabank and was told that I was also sent a debit card that was never received but all the funds were there and would be resent. I was told it would arrive by the 18th. Fingers crossed and thank you for figuring that out Tony!

March 26th mail date, still nothing. Tried getting ahold of the trace line on several different days, started at 7 am and kept calling back everytime I got dropped, for hours. Still haven’t talked to anyone that can trace my check. Anyone who has gotten ahold of them have any tips for a certain time or something? I just want to cancel and add direct deposit info, I cannot wait any longer. I wish there was an automated system or a way online to do it yourself.

So.. update. Finding time while working and “hold time” with IRS is crazy enough. My mail date was March 29th. Was told it wasn’t cashed or returned. My friend had March 26th mail date, went through same thing as most of us, he got his today. Hopefully that is some hope for us🤷♂️💁♂️

Still no check here in Oklahoma, site still says march 26th sent out date. Haven’t been able to get ahold of trace line I get dropped everytime. First check took 4 days and second check took 14. Does anyone know if I get ahold of the trace line will I be able to cancel the check and add direct deposit? Theres no way for me to do it on the website. Still nothing here in Colorado every time I call the irs they it’s been mailed to the address on file hasn’t been cashed and it hasn’t been returned. Had the March 26th mailed date still have it on my GMP tool. Also have ID and nothing in there today as well if it doesn’t show up by Friday of next weekend I’m canceling the check to see if they can just update my direct deposit information to do it that way. Yeah his is beyond ridiculous.

MetaBank #800-240-8100 and website EIPCARD.COM. I called number, pressed 1 for english, 2 for lost or stolen card, then press 1 because 2 will just go to a recording and disconnect. Input your last 6 of SSN, zip code, and follow prompts to get REISSUED another debit card. I can guarantee that probably is what has happened to most who have the “scheduled to be mailed by March 26th” status on GMP…

Called MetaBank today and they verified the reissue of card after I did process yesterday. When you verify with “live” person after 24hrs, enter 1 for english, then 2, then enter 1, and input information. When asked further questions about card, enter no to speak to live person. Hope these steps help you all as I know it has been insane we have to be so proactive in receiving our rightful funds. Let me know how it goes as well, continue to update…

Here are steps if you have the “scheduled to be mailed” on GMP and STILL haven’t gotten information. Call 800-240-8100, press 1 for english, then 2 when prompted, then 1 so you can enter your info. Follow the prompts and you will get reissued a new EIP card within 24hrs. Takes appr. 2 weeks to get new one so be on look out. This is from MetaBank and website is EIP “dot” COM. Most are having this issue GUARANTEED.

So.. follow those steps with call to MetaBank, and do process if given a “scheduled to be mailed by” on GMP. If you was sent an EIP debit card unknowingly, hopefully this will verify it and speed up your process. I’ll continue to update any information I get.

It further states, card will be sent out in 7-10 business days. So I’m figuring 2 weeks time to be received. Much better than waiting to get response from IRS after 6 weeks only to say was issued an EIP card and then needing to do my steps of reissuing. IRS person said even if card was stolen, they can’t activate it without your personal information. She said even if someone did steal it, they couldn’t use it. So that’s reassuring to me…

Hopefully, this will help those who are wanting to be proactive and NOT wait on IRS tracing timeframe. I feel that getting that vital info from person at IRS helped me in doing so because she stated it should have shown “eip card payment sent”. Once completed on reissue, call said will update in 24hrs and can call after that to speak to someone…

Update… Finally got through with a person even after faxing 3911 form at the IRS calling 800-919-9835. This person I spoke with actually didn’t even need to transfer me, pulled up my information after giving entire things I have done, and verified that my “scheduled to be mailed March 26th” was actually mailed in a form of an EIP debit card from MetaBank. Advised to call and request another replacement card through them. I’ll give complete process on this…

@zackwaits Same experience, but faxed form 3911. Couldn’t get through to a rep to do phone trace, but I did do the form. No confirmation or update on IRS account either or GMP. I have confirmation that fax was received and kept for records in case of FURTHER funny business by them not doing their job. Like the military now, hurry up and wait…

after many hours trying over and over last friday, i was able to get a person on the phone. apparently she started a trace for me. however, there was no confirmation number and nothing shows as tracing on my irs account when i sign in. trying not to be skeptical but this whole situation is making it hard not to be.
anyone have a similar experience?

I’m down in Orange Beach, Alabama. I received mine via DD weeks ago. Most remaining Alabama residents who did not have DD set up received a paper check a week or two later (the people I know at least). If you’re an Alabama resident who has yet to receive a check by now, there is probably an issue with the address they (the IRS) have on file.

It’s not just folks on disability who are encountering the problem. I’m not on it and I still haven’t received my payment. Neither have others I’ve spoken to who are also not on disability. But yes, someone dropped the ball somewhere and no one seems to care. It’s maddening.
I’m sending my Form 3911 in today.

This could be solved immediately if you could get through all the red tape and actually speak to someone who could actually do their job. Unfortunately, all we can do after the steps I stated is play the waiting game and hope someone does their job. No other options at this time. Will update any further information…

The IRS are doing everything to be difficult in sending us who are on disability who received the “scheduled to be mailed March 26” in GMP. So frustrating that received first 2 EIP’s without issue DD as my information is already on file. Don’t know who to blame either the SSA or the IRS, but CLEARLY either one is to blame.

Still no check tomorrow will make it 1 month. Tried to log into the gmp will my info that I’ve been using to check and it says my info doesn’t match their records. Smh absolutely ridiculous.

Called IRS to start a payment trace. First person I spoke with tried to claim that 4 weeks from March 26th would be April 26th and that I had to wait until Monday. (It’s actually today) Person #2 was only slightly more helpful. She read the instructions for Form 3911 in a monotone and said that it would be at least 6 weeks for IRS to respond to the request. I’m going to send in my form on Monday. At least I’ll feel like I’m taking some sort of action rather than just waiting.

this is the most ridiculous system I’ve ever seen.. there should be another way for people to do it themselves for canceled check. makes the lives of IRS employees easier. -
@jackvee9- No I sure haven’t! I called twice and they said it hasn’t been cashed and was sent to my address. That’s all they could tell me. It is nonsense. I have no idea what to do, but wait and do a trace. That takes a couple months minimum for a reissue of payment. It’s absurd. 🤦♂️

@Houston, TX. Yes I went ahead and filed my 2020 taxes but just entered my SSDI information. Follow my complete instructions in my prior 4 consecutive posts on April 17. It ended up showing 2021 in my account AFTER I filed it on IRS account. There is somehow either an issue with SSA or the IRS on why information isn’t crossing over. I’m gonna call on 23rd and trace either way, so hopefully since they have all info, it shouldn’t be long. Will update.

I went to payment options, go to irs direct pay, clicked the civil penalty, other amount due, picked last year, and entered a month, verified and took me to page to input my banking acct and routing number. I paid $0.01 as payment and it went through last night. So now they have DD info and should be no excuse on any other delay. I’ll keep you all updated and figured I just had to bite the bullet and do what I could other than sitting on my hands. Hope this works!! Stay tuned…

Once I submitted it and received notification that IRS accepted it, I logged back into my IRS account and the year 2021 was now there so they could do what they need to do. I did this in hopes that I won’t have to wait the entire time of “tracing”. I even went on to IRS account after that and set up my direct deposit directly with them….

Input your ssi, ssdi, etc… go through and efile it for free. I didn’t do state form and submitted. It was rejected, but TaxSlayer will show you what you need to do to fix it. It’s just entering $1 in I believe the interest and dividends section, but just wait for the email to verify and do it there way per their instructions. It took me less than 15 mins to do complete process including the fixed Federal form…

Here is some information I got from another chat. Somehow, the information IRS needs to authorize payment from the SSA has fell through a “glitch”. To rectify, create account on IRS site. Once you do click on Account Balance. If you don’t see 2021 “details by year” then you have been affected by this. To fix this, go to TaxSlayer and fill out tax info. Even if you didn’t receive anything other than benefits….

I called 1-855-868-0151, pressed 1 a couple of times and got to speak with a gentleman at the Treasury who took my info, then informed me that they were not yet authorized to release my payment. He did not know when this authorization was expected to arrive.
So, obviously the March 26th date is a lie, at least for some of us.
I’m thinking I might call again next week. The squeaky wheel, y’know?

As I stated the other day, GMP updated for me to add my DD info in. Info submitted, and hopefully they payment date shows up soon and I actually get the stimulus in a few days. Good luck to everyone!

called the 1-800 number and the guy said there was a glitch on the system to all who has march 26 as mailed date. checked my gmp and it still says the same thing since back in March 19.. IRS messed up on alot of tax papers money. i filed my 2020 taxes on the end of Jan.. why do i have to wait a past a month to get that stimulus.. dont make sense.

You’re not eligible for a payment.”however my informed delivery says “ An Economic Impact payment card sent on behalf of the US treasury is arriving in your mailbox soon!!!”

I called the 1800 number that was posted and they said it was mailed out on the 26th. So I’m not sure where it is or what’s going on with it. Cause they are sent priority mail and priority mail is sent out in 1 to 3 days and next Friday will be 40 days for the payment trace. So I guess I just have to keep waiting till I get to the 40 days to put a trace on it.

Call the Treasury Dept. 1-855-868-0151 and pressed option 1 for those with the “scheduled to be mailed March 26th” date or any other. They will be able to tell you even if the IRS had sent authorization to them to disburse payment. Most who haven’t received payment yet, I guarantee that this hasn’t been done yet and we will be stuck with waiting the 4 weeks to trace since there is no other recourse. IRS dropped the ball on so many people!

…a letter informing me that someone had logged on to the IRS website using my info. Yes, it was me, trying to find out more info about my STILL-unreceived 3rd stimulus.

So that GMP tool is BS in my opinion. 🤷🏽♀️

I spoke with an Agent today and she said that the post office does not forward government checks, for those of you that did a change of address, and that it would have to be sent back to the IRS. She said they’re getting thousands of checks back every day and it may take up to 4-6 weeks or longer for those payments to be reauthorized by the IRS. Once they’ve been reauthorized you can go to their GMP portal and enter your bank account information.

Person took all my info ssn, address, and name. He stated that the IRS hasn’t even sent over authorization for the funds to be released yet. It is the IRS that have dropped the ball. PERIOD. @jackvee9- Mine was supposedly mailed March 29th as well. Still nothing. My friend’s was mailed April 2nd and received their check on April 12th. I live in Nevada. No one knows what is going on. I guess we wait longer, then fill out a lost or stolen report. Or “trace” as they call it. 🤷♂️

Got an update. Checked GMP and asked for my direct deposit info, so hopefully this means I’ll get it this week. Just not sure if it went through cause after submitting it, it told me I have to wait 24 hours to use GMP again.

The nature of my call to them was to be sure they had my current address on file and that my 2019 taxes were processed. I was able to reach someone and its 4 weeks regular mailing address. 6 weeks if it’s a forwarded address.
I’m actually in belief that March 26 was a tentative mailing date. I’m still waiting will check mail when I get off work.

My check was scheduled to be sent on March 26th, it’s April 14th and nothing. Los Angeles here.
I’ve called but was told that I had to wait 4 weeks before I could track the check.
I also read that people who had already paid taxes and are owed money back because of the unemployment return have been having issues but I don’t know if that’s correct. My partner received his check two weeks ago and we are in the same boat with taxes.
Not sure what to believe.

Checked my mail box and it was there. Received my stimulus check in full. Dependents and all. Originally mailed out March 26th. GMP updated yesterday to April 16th. Showed up today April 13th. The downside is it’s post dated for April 16th which means I can’t cash it till then. Positive side of things is that I got it. I pray that everyone gets there’s ASAP. I am located in North West Arkansas.

Not 100% sure. It seems to be all mixed up now. Like stated on March 17th they said it would be DD. It then changed to scheduled to be mailed out on March 26th. Yesterday morning it changed to April 16th. My wife and I file jointly. Originally it showed March 26th for me. When she checked hers it stated she qualified for a plus up and that it would be DD into her account but we didn’t know the date.

So weird. Maybe your also receiving a “plus up payment?”. Some ppl did when it’s sent them 1400 for themselves, but didn’t include one or all of their dependents bcuz their 2020 taxes weren’t completed, or they used the 2019 info and the 2019 didn’t show all dependents.

Some ppl didn’t get the full amount for dependents bcuz some of their 2020 returns weren’t fully processed yet, so they ended up getting two separate checks. Maybe that’s the case with yours. But if u see the 123 anywhere in ur ID then it def should be ur payment. I had 3/26 date nd mine showed up that way too rcvd on 4/5

Update. I’m so confused now. My ID shows my stimulus is coming today. I got the nether and notification about the payment and I see the 123 anywhere street. I assume that’s it. However when I checked the GMP tool everything changed. My original mail date was March 26th. GMP changed my date to April 16th to be mailed on. So do I have another check coming? Or is this the one for the 16th?

I talked to two mailmen that I know,(both have different routes) and they both said “we are given the mail for each route . We deliver what we get for that day”. Has anyone from Michigan received theirs as of April 10th. I seen on ID some piece of mail from the IRS but never received the mail in my mailbox. I checked the box that says “did not receive” so I’m hoping I at least get that mail that was missing. Why do they show mail in the ID but it not be in the actual mail? today I got 2 checks. they used 2019 taxes for 2800 for me and 1 dependent. the 2nd 1 was for my son cuz he’s on SSI. now idk if I should keep both checks or return one since I was paid for my dependent twice. anyone have any suggestions. since I cant get ahold of the IRS, I don’t want to cash it then be told I have to pay it back. any info or links would be greatly appreciated. My last name starts with a B and I haven’t received mine either. It was mailed March 29th. I did receive a letter about my 2nd stimulus payment a few days after the scheduled mail date. People have gotten their payments mailed on April 2nd, regardless of their last name. No one knows what’s going on at this point.

Cont. Well at 4:pm my father-in-law which has different box and doesn’t check his mail very often had check in hand with mine and my husband’s name on and street address not even the PO box. Thank God it got into his mailbox and not somebody else’s I have no idea when it got there. Update to my previous posts. This is crazy I checked my PO Box again today still nothing I’ve been checking since well the 26th of March I asked the post office if they have seen stimulus checks; if they have seen my stimulus check and they had told me that they have no idea what they look like and could not give me that information. I checked my mail around 11:00 each day at the post office waiting for this check to come in 11:00 is when the mail is usually finished being sorted.

Try to check the box under the image on the usps website, it’ll say “I didn’t receive this item or something to that fact”. They should reissue that mail piece within 2 days. I had todo that with my tag registration last month, it showed up in my email but didn’t arrive in mailbox. I checked the little box nd it came 2 days later.
Idk if it’s the same for the stimulus but it should be, it’s either sitting at local P.O. or it’s on the mailman truck. Good luck

Also im not sure why everyone waiting on a check or card keeps bringing up the 7th. That date was the date they scheduled DD for people on SSI, SSDI, VA, and RR benefits. They cant say for sure when you will get your card or check, only when they mailed it. -

Golden, Colorado-Received my check yesterday, 04/05- Not a card, an actual check. Good thing was, I deposited it into my Capital One checking account through mobile banking before 4 pm, funds were available by 6 pm. Mailed date 3/26, on Thursday April 1st, USPS ID showed a scan of two envelopes, one from Treasury Dept. one from the IRS.
Nothing showed up in my mailbox until today April the 5th. I got my EIP card just now. The hold up I believe is caused by USPS but is coming everyone. One EIP visa card per household. Bank account transfers’ limit is 6K. -

It may show up in everyone’s ID but may not get delivered the same day. They do that for theft prevention I was told. It will vary. Seen many people with informed delivery not get theirs on same day.

On ID it will show valued citizen 123 anywhere street, anytime usa 12345 (apparently they show up this way on ID for security reasons), BUT when u get the actual mail piece it will be addressed to your actual name, otherwise how would the mailman know what or who’s mailbox to put them in? Mine is addressed from dept of treasury bureau of fiscal dept from PA.

From what I’ve read, don’t know how true it is, if your envelope says Valued Citizen or whatever, it’s the EIP card. If it’s a check, it will say your name and address.
Will you guys update once you get your mail? I’m curious as to why some are getting the “valued citizen” on theirs and some aren’t.
We have a letter coming today but no check. I’m sure the letter is in regards to the stimulus payment.

Update: Gas City Indiana I just received my check in the mailbox it was a regular check from the treasury dept . Mine was not scanned and they don’t do it for security reasons. To all of my fellow Alabama residents commenting, based on every other item I’m able to track, there are two regional facilities that always hold my standard-shipped out of state mail up before landing in Montgomery – one is based in Memphis and the other Atlanta. I’m talking a 5-10 day stall since the pandemic began. I’m willing to bet a few truck loads of stimulus checks have been sitting at one of those two facilities for a few days now. Would be nice if we at least had a tracking number

Here in Tennessee. I tried to call the local post office to see what they could tell me, but never got anyone to answer. Then I remembered a friend of mine has a daughter that works at the post office. My friend said she would talk to her daughter and see what she could find out. A little while later, she said that no stimulus checks came through the post office at all this past week. Hopefully in the next couple of days it will arrive.

I think the problem is the bank card they send and not the post office or the irs. they pbly issue the payment on the 26th and then the waiting time is the card issuer putting funds on the card and your name on it then mailing it. If you got a check instead then it skips that process and you receive in the regular normal postal time frame . . same time frame if you order a replacement debit card from your bank .

I have a 03/30 mail date as well and nothing has showed up yet. Gotten two letters about the 2nd payment and that’s it. The 2nd payment didn’t show up on ID so I’m not sure checking ID is enough, I keep making annoying daily trips to my mailbox regardless of what ID shows.

I know someone who lives is Tierra Verde, FL and his ID showed that it was in his mail for delivery, but his mail person never delivered the mail yesterday, so he will probably get it today.
I live north of Tampa but have a mailed by date of 3/31 which i find odd, and have now only seen one other person with that mailed by date. Its not even on the IRS website. They have 3/25, 3/26, and 4/2 as the dates, so im so confused.

Does informed delivery show all mail?
It will show all of the letter size pieces that were automatically photographed by equipment that sorts mail by route and by delivery sequence. Often you will receive additional mail that was manually sorted to your address well after the automated process was completed. -

Fernandina Beach, FL…… Get My Refund on the IRS site showed the third stimulus was scheduled to be mailed on March 26th, but we still have NOT received it and USPS Informed Delivery doesn’t show it coming today either. We received our first stimulus via DD and the second by mail, but we got the second stimulus on the same day it said it was being mailed. Hopefully the third arrives soon.

Tolleson, Az still no stimulus. Sent out on the 26th. It shows something from IRS in mail on ID but did not actually arrive today. The letter I see in ID is from Kentucky too.
So idk if that’s the right one. I know some people said they saw ones with the 123 anywhere address so. I got a letter about my taxes earlier this week too but the envelope for that letter looks completely different than the one I’m seeing in my inbox on ID photos.

Wisconsin. USPS IF showed 9 letters for today 3 of them from the Treasury. 6 letters delivered. Nothing from the Treasury. Post Office told me to wait 4 weeks and then file a trace. Oh well I will forward the pictures of the letters to my landlord and car payment. They should be good with that.

2 DDs. 3rd was DD then randomly changed to Mail date of 3/26.Today, finally ID showed envelope from “U.S. Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service…Philadelphia, Pennsylvania”, addressed to “Valued Citizen, 123 Anystreet” etc. Right side of the envelope there is a statement that reads “Forgery of endorsements on Treasury checks is a Federal crime.” Etc.
I just opened it. It is my full stimulus check. Hope everyone gets theirs this week! -

It’s interesting. The “Get my Payment” tool does not say it was mailed out on the 26th, it says it is scheduled to be mailed the 26th. Check the wording on it. I hear they are fixing that for SSI and SSD with a direct deposit. Why didn’t they do that in the first place?

Your not supposed to receive your 3rd payment letter until after you’ve received the payment, so it’s probably about your second one.
Funny thing is, letter was dated for 3/26. So I’m praying this means we will all receive our payments by tomorrow or Saturday the latest.

Get my payment tool said my check was mailed on March 26th. USPS informed delivery sent me two notifs that my EIP was coming. My check arrived today, but the EIP was not shown on my informed delivery this morning. I hope this helps someone. From South Carolina (Midlands).

I received my two other checks by DD, I just don’t understand why they are sending me a check or a debit card this time!!

All mine have been mailed. They take at least two weeks to get to you. They don’t come in 3-5 days like normal mail lol I would say everyone should start getting them right after Easter. Anyone who has gotten a mailed one was mailed before the 26th.

I live in Ohio and it’s showing on my informed delivery that an envelope was scanned from the treasury department & fiscal office for “valued customer” 123 anywhere street Anywhere USA. I seen this happened to someone else on ID if I didn’t read and know about that I would be worried. I think it is a security measure. Of course my mail doesn’t come til 4:30pm so I have to wait all day. -
At this point Florida isn’t cared about cuz a majority of 3/26 haven’t gotten anything down here I’m in wpb

I’m from Michigan, still haven’t received anything with a mail date of 3/26.
My first stimulus had a mail date of 4/24,(Friday) and I received it only a few days later on 4/28(the next week on a Tuesday)
My second stimulus had a mail date of 1/6(wensday) and i received it on 1/15(the next week on a Friday).
I feel like, or more like I hope that it may drop on a Friday at the latest. Mind you, I’ve received every stimulus as a mailed check, and not a direct deposit.

First 2 stimmies were DD, but this one has it is being mailed. I moved in Oct 2020. When I check online, I use my old address and I get an error. When I use my new address, I get a message that the check mail date is 3/26 to the address on file. Hopefully the new since that is the one that gives me the info. Still nothing though. I think the problem is the snail mail. Our checks have been sent their just taking their time sorting. My first came a day after maildate, my second came 4 weeks after maildate and I’m still sitting here as of today waiting on third with maildate 3/26 in VA.

I had read an article that said that they were going to be delays with the mail find anyone receiving their check in the mail may have a longer wait than they did previously it didn’t stay why but I read that on the internet before the checks were even set to be mailed. I had a child in 2020, another of our children turned 18 and filed their own taxes for 2020. I had my 2020 return adjusted to remove the child in 2020 from stimulus by the IRS and got the letter saying as much. I will emphasize that I’m a non filer who’s had mailing info with the IRS on file (I didn’t know you could put a DD # in the portal and they locked it in NOV of last year before I could add mine). Like I said last time it took almost three weeks form mail date of Jan 6 so this was FAST. People who had it switched from DD to mail might have a longer wait.

I’ve done that before and they issued it the next day, sometimes the mailman forgets to put in the mailbox but it’s still in the truck or possibly now the post office. U can try call ur local post office and ask if it’s there.

NADA in the mail today. In Florida. Regular first class mail shouldn’t take any longer than 1-3 days to arrive. If they mailed on Friday 3/26, then I’m not sure if Saturday would count as a mail day in regards to the 1-3 days (some articles claim it’s only business days, week days), I’m hoping this is the case as to why we all haven’t gotten ours yet. Which means should be here by tomorrow (Wednesday)

Y’all need to calm down. It got mailed out on the 26th it will take a few days to get delivered. I dont know why some people cant understand that.
I know some got theirs early and good for them. Obviously theirs was mailed earlier. Mail takes longer than one day. The checks are on the way. If you’re relying on this money to pay rent…what are you gonna do next month? -

Just so everyone knows if your chack was actually mailed on the 26th it should be here by tomorrow it usually takes 3 days not counting the day it was actually sent out.

On March 18th I ordered my transcripts through IRS website. Today I check Informed Delivery and seen an IRS letter and one piece of mail that “couldn’t be shown”. Well I checked the mail and it was my darn transcript that I had ordered. Status still reads “scheduled to be mailed March 26th.” I am hoping it comes this week. -
For those of you that are waiting on it to show in informed delivery, don’t use that as a sign it’s here or not. The 1st 2 stimulus were mailed and neither showed on ID. My first stimulus arrived on the day they said it would be mailed. My last check came 4-5 weeks AFTER the site said it was mailed. Neither showed on ID.

Same situation in KY. IRS has my bank on file. Never got stimulus. Says mailing 26th, it’s 29th don’t have it. It’s odd it didn’t update to “mailed”. Who knows if it’s coming. Very frustrating. They should have this figured out. People need this money.

Pissed off in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Was waiting for mail all day today and NO STIMULUS CHECK. Supposed to be mailed on the 26th and I’m only about 150 miles from IRS. Why does it take so long? I signed up for the USPS ID and it’s not showing anything for tomorrow either. So frustrated!!!

I’m in Fernandina beach, fl. I’m in the same situation. Supposed to be mailed the 26th and nothing yet. It did say direct deposit than it changed. I don’t know about them only being allowed to deposit 3 checks in the same account as I only got my refund that way. So, thats only one deposit.

Hey everyone, I’m in MD and it’s all the same here. According to ‘Informed’, No letter NO check, not that I need a letter. This is as frustrating as it can be everyone else around be got their’s DD. It’s equally as frustrating; IRS doesn’t give anyway to find out if indeed it was even mailed or just scheduled to be mailed. I would have preferred direct deposit like my last 2 did, not sure why this one didn’t.

Nervous in NY, this is RIDICULOUS!! When I got the mail today and saw it was from the Dept of Treasury, I thought that was it, but to my dismay it was a letter!! Like WTF, they could have kept the letter and replaced it with my damn check!! Two things, being mailed from the SAME PLACE, going to the SAME ADDRESS, but somehow the less important thing arrives first!! The IRONY!!

In SC have March 26 mail date it’s now Monday mail man came and gone, and nothing!! What I don’t understand is how I got a letter from the same EXACT place mailed on the 26th of March (Friday past) the exact date the check was supposedly mailed but the letter beat the check!! People saying tomorrow for sure, but I wonder!! At this point I’m PAST PISSED!!

Checked ID no check. GMP says mailed on March 26 😥 1st was rejected by bank had to get a check I had ID then so I seen it in the mail. I was able to updated my banking info last summer for when the 2nd check came so it DD on my prepaid card. 3rd was rejected by bank even tho I have already received my 2020 taxes federal and state to the same account.. Guys watch your mail boxes carefully, it will not have your name on it.
It will look like trash mail and say valid citizen ,my check in paper form it was wierd and I almost thought it was jist a letter on my usps app as it said from treasury but to a valid citizen 123 street anywhere us. Very wierd but happy it wasn’t just a letter. Also did not recieve a letter with it as it said I was getting one. Hope this helps anyone waiting!! Not much longer -

Found out they did this cuz we all had 3 ddz to the same account. irs has a law that won’t allow them to deposit more then 3 times to same bank account. Super sucky. We really need it. The letter I’ve received each stimulus saying how they paid me. That letter shouldn’t make anyone feel down about their stimulus.
