      DDD 2/23/17

      My tax refund was supposed to be direct deposited to my HigherOne account. Checked TPG to find a 20.00 returned item fee and a note saying my refund will be mailed! Has this happened to anyone else using HigherOne?

          It will automatically be sent but if it were me, I would call anyway just to make sure cause this tax season is a mess

            Update: I called TPG at (312) 809-5189

            Higher One rejected my refund yesterday 2/2217. I’m assuming that they have a deposit amount cap. A check was mailed today 02/23/17. My advice is to use a money card if you don’t have a bank account. :) Good luck to all!

              My boyfriend was rejected this morning the wrong routing number should he call the IRS or will a check automatically be sent to him???

                I’ve been on the phone with Netspend the last 2 hours because this almost happened to me. Apparently the amount triggered a random identification verify internal to Netspend. I’ve had to scan and email ID , social sec card , 2 utility bills in my name. I only caught it by chance. I wasn’t notified , I received a secure inbox message on my account dashboard , if I hadn’t noticed it there I would have been screwed. It didn’t trigger an email or any other notification to me. I just happened to see it. It gave me until 5pm CST today to resolve the issue or they would send the payment back. Everyone beware. If you don’t see your expected deposit call , don’t wait or they’ll send it back on less than a day.

                  Never used higherone, do you know the deposit limit on that card? I know a coworker who got rejected cause the refund was too high, they tried sending it on the 17th. Her check is set to be mailed on the 27th now. She had a different card tho
