My bars didn’t disappear yesterday but my transcripts posted and then I woke up to the path message this morning.
I wonder why some lose their bars and others go straight to the path message.

I tried 24 hours later and it still has this message.Anyone that changed from one bar today to no bars with tt152 but no path message have access to their transcripts? I’m wondering if DDD will be the same as last year for me 2/22 last year. Hoping for 2/21 this year. I claim both eic and actc

@Spookyrides and @Nona,
Sadly, I did file early this year through HR Block again, I thought for sure it be smooth sailing this year and hear I’ve already hit a bump in the road with code 1541, which most are saying is nothing, but time will tell. Best of luck to all of us, last year was a living hell and I hope none of us have to go through that again!

@redacted B I agree alot of them is going to go thru the same thing me and Spookyrides went thru last year. They kept telling me nothing was wrong and I even got a letter telling me no need to take action. They were just sitting on my money. I will never file early again.

@Nona48: I was the lucky guy who finally for our refund in November last year. Two trips to my local office, three ID verifications, 75 phone calls, 10 to an advocate and to this day the only thing I can piece together is that they have signaled out early test batch folks for random audits. This yes I waited until the 31st. To file. One bar, no amount listed and the tax topic 152. Will update along with redacted B as I go, but I pity anyone that has to go thru what we did last year. Still pissed off about it and still think they make a ton of interest sitting on our money! (And for no damn sensable reason!)

Yea Nona, I remember you. That’s what’s happening to these folks. Maybe not all but most. Just like us last year.

@redacted the same thing happen to me last year but I’m not sure what mines was for. I had to get a tax Advocate to get my refund release. It went from 1 bar, no bar, and then a message stating ur refund is still being process. It not only happen to me but alto of people. I’m telling u all u might have to get a tax advocate to get ur money. Some people didn’t get theirs some had to wait for months. Just look at the forum for 2018 missing bars and refund is still being process.

Yea that’s an ID verify situation. You’ll get your return around October after they exhausted every thing under the sun to hold it up. There’s still a handful waiting on last years refunds this happened to. My buddy Spookyrides on here finally got his in November.
Good luck everyone!

There are a lot of us, and from what I’ve seen, mostly people who are getting EIC, CTC and the ACTC getting this message. Most of the evidence I’ve seen points to it just being a message they put up. i guess we will find out this weekend tho, but i think its just a generic message. unless you have a code that tells you otherwise, i wouldn’t panic(as i say this I’m panicking bc i need my money and I’m having to wait longer then i did last year) i have a bunch of friends with the same credits as i have and they all have different messages, some have bars and some don’t. so who knows whats actually going on. lets just keep each other updated.

I’m not trying to dampen anyone spirits. I’m just telling u what happened to me last tax season. I filed early 01/22 and accepted the next day. Im a weelky so my taxes r process once a week on Thursday r Friday. I had 1 bar for a week and the next week I lost my one bar and had a generic message with my info still along the side. I could see both transcripts with a processing date but no code 846. My processing date kept changing. The second week i call the IRS and was told nothing was wrong. The next week I called a lady stayed i would get a letter in the mail. So the beginning of March I received a letter stating that it was no action to be taken I would get my refund in 60 days. I saw people with my situation calling a tax advocate. So I called one and she finally got me my refund issuedat the end of March. To this day I don’t know why my taxes were held. I’m assuming because i file mines with my last check stub. My opinion losing bars is not good. Last tax season was very stressful for me. That code 570 on my transcript will not move.

I filed 1/24, accepted 1/28, and on 2/8 my bar disappeared and got the processing message with 152. The next day my transcripts were available and a day after that wmr updated with a DDD. It just means they are processing your record :)

From what people are posting I think losing bars is a good thing? Like DDD should be here soon. Can anyone verify this info??
-
February 12, 2019 at 6:28 am #4266260jessica143
I think missing bars means they are still processing and getting ready for updates. Did anything on your transcripts change? Like any new codes? Hopefully you will get a refund approved notice and DDD once they pop back up. That’s been my experience the last few years.

Filed and accepted 1/25 and lost all bars today too and refund amount gone. What does that mean??

February 12, 2019 at 4:53 am #4266222
I have the same situation I filed 01/10, accepted 01/17, ordered both transcripts on 01/27 but they arrived blank in the mail, and then this weekend maybe Friday I noticed my one bar disappeared and the message changed to “your return is still being processed, a refund date will be provided when available.” There’s No tax topic or codes or message and I have not got a letter from the irs yet. Refund amount and info is still on left side of WMR. No path or etc. I’m hoping I’m just processing as it states and there’s no bigger issue as my taxes are no different than other years (except wage might be a little bit different)
I wish I could provide some answers but an still wondering and waiting to see what is going on. I’ll try to remember to post an update here if I Here something or have a change.
I hope all the best for you and others in the same situation!
