Locked out & no status for stimulus

My mom and I have gotten both previous stimulus amounts on the exact same day. This time hers arrived this morning and mine has no status update on the checker tool, locked me out for checking too much and I cannot get through to any number I call for the irs. They all say unavailable and hang up. This is the only year I have ever owed the irs when I filed. It was only $85 dollars though and I have till April to pay it. I know I’m eligible because I fall way below their requirements so what gives

I understand that but this is the first time I’ve ever owed before and now there’s no information for me…. that can’t be a coincidence. I only made around $12000 this year. That’s well below their requirements and I only owe because I’m single with no kids to claim credits on.

You’re not alone! A bunch of people on this forum, also my brother and I are seeing the same status. Hope we see some checks next week. If you call 800-919-9835 it is the stimulus hotline and you can talk to someone here, but they may only give you generic answers

Your not alone. Majority of people should receive a deposit by tomorrow night, irs is major backlogged and cant release all funds at once without over loading the system. I’m still waiting for mine as well. Wouldn’t worry till Thursday morning though lol.
