      Just thought it would be easier to start a forum for letters. For all who received one, can you say when filed, what credits, can you order transcripts and when you received the letter. Doesn’t matter what type of letter, just thought this could help some people with their situations

            I have path message and was able to order both transcripts. I seen code 971 so I called irs and they said it was a cp04 combat verification. Since my husband was in tax free zone for half of this year. There is no hold code but said we just need to fill out paper and send it back. Said we were done processing and everything was good. So I’m wondering if we will get refund on time or wait until after they get info back.

              I filed 1/20 got accepted 1/23
              Path act message 1/26
              Ordered transcripts 2/4
              Cycle code 20170405
              Processing date 02/13 hope that means the 15th

                I received a LTR letter what does that mean? It says not to do a thing.Refund or no refund that is the question. ?

                  Letters like…ID verify, request for proof of items on return, audit….letters are a bad thing. If you didn’t get one you are good to go :)

                    Can someone explain what letters you guys are talking about? I got the PATH message and was able to order both of my transcripts and never received any letters.

                      Lol at fun detective game. I haven’t been able to determine if those ppl who got a letter and have the path message ever got a transcript and if so, what it said.

                              Lol!!! I do this too! It occupies my mind.
                              I am thinking it is either a glitch that these few people got the path msg to begin with, or they are mistaking what they have as the path msg. I am reading tons of people got letters but they all had lost bars.

                                I have been looking on a few other sites, trying to get a pattern for the people who have posted today that they have the path act wmr message and recieved a letter. I only found 3 people total who have stated this. Unfortunately none of those people are responding to questions so I can’t figure out their dates or what they have in common. ( I swear it’s like a fun detective game, lol) Has anyone seen anyone else or have any insight?
