Letter 4464c Update Thread

I wanted to create a thread where people can post their experiences with the 4464c letter. Basically, updates and results. This way, people from this year and the next can get some idea of how long they will have to suffer and maybe techniques that can get them the money faster since we are now pulled for 60 day review.

Please keep complaints to other threads and just post results here.

I filed 2/3 at HR Block and was accepted same day.
I filed for EITC.
Got my 4464c letter on 2/14
I called the IRS last week and this morning. I was told the same “you’re under a 60 day review.”
When I ask if it’s ID verify or anything to do with EITC, I get the runaround.

Called.. Today Told To Wait 60 Days
Also Told I Have The Option To Amend… Amend What 🤷🏽‍♀️
Now I’m Just Waiting…..

Filed 02/03/2020, accepted same day, Bars disappeared 2/21, 4464c letter arrived 02/24. Will update when I hear anything. So frustrating!

It’s just really frustrating trying to find out what happened to people last year in the same situation and finding nothing, except one horror story. I assume many people got their money and ran or were so sickened by it all, weren’t thinking about a tax forum, months later

2/17/20 WMR changed to no bars and “still being processed message.” Tried to call IRS that week. Wouldn’t look at my file.
2/24/20: After my WMR didnt update on 2/22 like everyone else, I called. They said letter sent on 2/20 stating I was under 60 day review and didnt need to do anything. Got letter in mail that day. Dated 2/19. Told me to call back on 2/28. Will update again then.
