filed & accepter 1/25
letter received 2/9
documents faxed 2/9
bars disappeared 2/12I received letter 12c asking for form 8962 and 1095-a. I have already faxed the documents over but I’m wanting to see if anyone has had experience with the WMR bars disappearing – is this good or bad? and how long will my refund be delayed roughly? I’m completely freaking out.
This isn’t a question but another piece of information – I have tried to order transcripts. i was able to order 2015 about a week ago but not 2016 and I tried today and it won’t let me order either – keeps saying the information does not match up. must be an error with the system.

Did you guys get a revise code for 570. From my transcript everything is ready to go just waiting on dd. I see 3-6-17 beside my cycle code. Just wondering if the date by the cycle code is the day you suppose to get your refund and if 571 code replace the 570 code.

@Dscrav my amount was lower, so they just took more and that’s that. Tomorrow is supposed to be my DDD date, will let y’all know if that’s the case.

@Elise
Impatiently…lol… awaiting an update as I have the exact same timeline as you. We received our letter on 2/8 and faxed our information in on 2/14. We moved across the country last year so are having a hard time accessing transcripts online this year! Ugh! Thanks!

We filed 1/25 got letter from IRS requesting 1095 and 8962 on 2/9 faxed over everything on 2/9 then called 2/17 to make sure fax was received and it still had not been received 😒 Was told to not resend that it could take 2-4 weeks just to restart processing. SO FRUSTRATING!!

I had to mail my return because I lost my ip pin … mailed my return out on 1/23 … wmr didn’t show anything until 2/6 saying its processing…I do have both credits…called irs several times and they said because my return didn’t have a ip pin it had to go up for another review…lost bar on 2/9 or 2/10…still have no bar just says they’ve received it and its still processing…can’t order either transcript…haven’t seen a path message…im not upset just posting my situation just in case anyone has a similar situation…irs stated it would be an additional 6-8 weeks for the review but i’ll give it 2 weeks because it was suppose to take 4-6 to even begin processing but only took 2….oh this is my first time mailing my return in

Teresa or Josiah Nelson- hoping you guys could answer this for me.
Filed 2/1
Accept 2/1
No EIC or ACTC
1 bar since 2/1 topic 152 and correct return amount
Received letter today 2/18 for the 1095 and 8262I have filled out the letter and it looks as though I received too much tax credit. This will obviously change my refund amount negatively. My question is did either of you have your refund amount decrease? Just wondering if it could take longer since my refund amount will be less, or could it still just take a couple of weeks even though I need to pay back some of the credit? Hope that makes since! Thanks!

I filled and was accepted 2/3, have had 1 bar this whole time. I haven’t been able to order either transcripts and finally got a letter today 2/18 stating I would have to send in this paperwork. urgh! I thought it was going to be 6 weeks!!! I’m glad to see that your guys has been a delay of 2 weeks, makes me feel much better! is the 8262 hard to fill out? I’m really scared about screwing it up!

Update for y’all looking for a timeline.
Again, filed/approved in mid-Jan. Received 12c letter for 8262/1095 on 2/3. Status bars removed and had the “refund is being processed blah blah” message WITHOUT Tax Topic 152 on 2/5 (that’s when I noticed and checked my mail.) Faxed paperwork back on 2/6. 2/14 WMR website updated with the Tax Topic 152 and no longer showed my refund amount. 2/15 I was able to order all my 2016 transcripts. Today the bars are back, there is a message saying that my refund amount was changed, I’ll get a letter and I have DDD of 2/21. So, it was about a two-week delay.

I filed on 1/17/2017, and had 1 bar until 2/1/2017. Got a 12c Letter on Feb 3,2017 and faxed everything on the 6th. I was tried to order transcripts everyday with no avail. Yesterday, I tried to order them about 11 am and still no avail. I tried again at 8pm and WHOO HOO, I could order both account and return transcripts. Although nothing has changed on my refund status yet. It says the same thing…still being processed. I have EIC and thats it, so maybe I will get a update tomarrow.

I filed on 1/16, was accepted on 1/17 and up until 2/5 I had the normal one orange bar, my return was accepted and most refunds are issued in 21 days.
On Feb. 5 I noticed this was now on WMR page:
A refund date will be provided when available.
Please Note:
For refund information, please continue to check here, or use our free mobile app, IRS2Go. Updates to refund status are made no more than once a day. (It also still had my refund amount showing.)I checked my mail on the 6th and had a letter asking me to send in Form 8962 with my 1095. I faxed the info they requested it the letter and since then my message has been the same as above. However, as of today, 2/14, I now have the Tax Topic 152 message back and my refund amount is no longer showing so I can only assume that means they got the fax and are re-processing. Still cannot order 2016 transcripts other than wage trans.
The letter says it can take 6-8 weeks but maybe the turn around will be more like 2-3 weeks. Which that’s normal, I did my TSA pre-check meeting last Thursday and they said it would take two weeks to approve me. I got the email on Monday that I was all good so I imagine in most cases when you do it correctly, it’ll get done pretty timely, they just overestimate timelines.
