Has anyone with the last 4 of their social as the account number on the Get My Payment stimulus tracker receive a deposit as of yet ?

Nothing yet still can’t check turbo tax everything is down text bal non responsive

@Suzie If your tax return was deposited in Liberty’s account and they cut you a check, Either the IRSwill try to deposit to that same account, but it would be kicked back because obviously the name wouldn’t match. Or, the IRS can tell that’s it’s a Liberty tax account.
In any case, Liberty is right that you will eventually get a paper check. It sounds like there will be millions of people in the same boat as you, waiting for a check.

@Squiz thanks for the info. I’m just confused because I never opted for prepaid card with my tax preparer. I opted for paper check from the beginning.. so if this is true and it’s being loaded on prepaid card, I don’t have a clue what “prepaid” card it would go on 🤔

I just checked my 1040 tax return and under the direct deposit section the routing number is 283972036, which I googled and it is rebuplic bank. My account number shows 8(X’s) with last 4 of SSN at the end. So I’m guessing they sent the money to republic bank and hopefully I can pick up my check at liberty today. If not I’m assuming the deposit with get rejected, go back to IRS and then they send out a check to me. Which can take months! Ugh this is so frustrating. I’ll keep you guys posted

I saw on Twitter somebody post an official FAQ stating that if the last 4 of your account # is reading as your SSN, that just means the funds were deposited onto a prepaid card. So hoping for that Turbo Card to come thru. I’ll find the link and post.

Same here! I filed with liberty tax service and opted to pick up a check “in house” for my refund. I called them last week and they said I would get a paper check for stimulus which I was fine with.. now when I check the stimulus tracker it says it was deposited today in the acct ending with last 4 of my SSN. So weird! I will call liberty as soon as they open at 10am PST to find out where my money is.

Curious about this myself as it has the last 4 of my social. We went through a tax preparer that cut us a check after it was deposited into their account. Wondering if it went to them.
