Alright so who else filed/ was accepted in January and is still waiting. I got s letter not too long ago that told me to do nothing but wait. I’m starting to wonder if I’m the only early filer left. Was anyone else told to just wait? And if so have you heard anything or gotten anywhere?

@latisha
I was never able to see my Transcripts! I had to get a tax advocate to help me! I think I might be able to order them now, but I don’t want to anything until my money is in my account! I got my info about the code from the Facebook page. There is a guy on there answering people’s questions his name is Thomas Balaton or something like that! Good luck!

@philip
I have read in other forums that an 846 code means your money has been released and that the 5/11 is the date for a paper check, but if you have direct deposit you should have your funds by next Wednesday like me! I got my refund has a Facebook page as well and that is where I got that info! You should check it out for yourself! Congratulations if that is the case, the wait is almost over!!!

Possible movement on mine. My transcripts now show the legendary code 846 with the date 5/11 so. Maybe next month for me?

Here we are again another week down and still nothing. As our fridges lay bare and our cars fall apart! As our bills pile up day after day and our bosses hover over us trying to find a reason to fire us, we still go with out one red cent from the government that claims that they will give us what we are owed. I have never in my life been so completely disgusted with a government entity. Its like get a freaking grip people! Yes I might have been flagged for whatever I was flagged for, but how about you come up with a system that tells people about these problems? Instead we sit and wait for what seems like the end of time for them to tell us something that could have been told to us in the beginning with our initial phone call.
I awoke yesterday to a word change on my WMR. I don’t know why I still check that thing it doesn’t tell me anything I want to know. it was “your return has been received and it is still being processed” now it says ” we have received your return and it is being processed”. I don’t really know what that means and nor I think its going to bring on my return any faster. I called my tax advocate who I am just noticing today doesn’t speak very good English and he told me that my money should be deposited in my account on April 29th. So is this the end of my journey I do not know, and I won’t be holding my breath to find out. If my money is in fact deposited then I will give you guys the news but if not, I hope my boss holds out so I can try to find another job…

I filed my taxes electrically on Jan. 8, 2015 and the return was accepted within hours. I would go on the WMR site and at first I had the orange bars then they disappeared. I called the IRs on Feb 5, 2015, and was told my return was in the Errors Resolution Department and I would be receiving a letter. After 6 more calls, no letter, and getting a different answer every time I called, I decided to send in my information again through the mail. Well this action got the ball rolling, but I forgot to sign my return. The return was sent back to me on April 4, 2015 and I signed and submitted it again on April 6th through the mail. On April 18th, I finally received the letter I was supposed to get two months ago. The letter stated I had to submit a 8962 form and submit my 1095A form. I had to fax a letter saying that I had already submitted the information in the forms that I mailed back on April 6, 2015. I have never experienced anything like this. Being told the IRS has a department that you cannot contract is just frustrating. Also being totally disrespected on the telephone by this IRS agents has just totally depressed me. I am facing financial dire straits because of the holdup of my refund. I filed TurboTax and they have been no help at all.

Well at least there is movement for some of us. I just wish I was in that boat. But it’s a good sign.

Called IRS today and after the rep looking into my account and her supervisor also looked they couldn’t figure out what the hold up was…They transferred me to the examination dept where a rude lady informed me that the EIC isn’t earned money it is more like a gift and it could be months until I see my refund so I finally opted to contact the tax advocate office….My TA is suppose to call me not later than the 22nd…I really hope they can help

No update for me! My Tax advocate said that I probably won’t hear anything about a refund until around the 22nd of April. I worked my butt off and finally got the move in cost for my new apartment. Now it would be really nice if I could have my refund so I can get some dang furniture…or I am going to be sleeping on the soft plush carpet for a while….. Praying for some relief April 22nd..please please please please….please!
I will keep you guys updated!

Accepted Jan 20th. Cp05 letter dated Feb 23rd. Called a few times throughout March mo updates. Review was set to be over the 9th so I called the 9th and they said it was still in review for some reason or another. The lady said she was sending a referral of some kind on my behalf. She said I should hear from irs within 45 days. Have not heard anything yet but tonight my tsnascripts were updated it says as of date may 4th. And refund issued may 4th but the 570 code is still there. Wmr still says refund still being processed. Hopefully soon.

APhilip Why dont you try calling the tax advocate hotline yourself! Did he give you a case number? If not just call them what can it hurt. just to let them know that you want one and what your situation is!
Good Luck

I called the irs yesterday and spoke to a nice man. Though. I was shocked. He was confused as to why my return wasn’t processing. He literally to me he has no idea what was going on or why. That there were no notes on my account about why it was being held. Only that it was being held. He did however contact a tax advocate on my behalf and said u should be getting a call in a week. But I don’t really trust the irs. Not after this year. So I have my doubts.

UPDATE:
Hello All I just want to update you all on this crazy tax process of mine! I still haven’t received my tax refund! I have been waiting since January 22! I am way beyond the 21 days, I have been told to wait 6-8 weeks its way past that. I hear a lot of people talking about 8-10 weeks, welp guess what I am well beyond that as well.
I got a tax advocate on the 24 of March. He called me on the 27th and told me that I had to verify my ID and hardship. I faxed in an abundance of stuff! My taxes, Drivers license, Social security card, a statement stating my hardship, a from 14039 which is an identity theft affidavit! So I faxed in all those things on Monday the 30th and was told he would get all those things over to the IRS and he would call me on the 8th. So I waited and I waited and I ended up calling him on the 8th because yet another week had gone by and I still didn’t have my refund! He said that I should be a little more patient and he would call me by the 17th. So here I am having to wait yet ANOTHER WEEK!
I am hearing so many awesome stories of people getting there money, but I am not getting mine….welp I will update again if anything else happens before the 17th of freaking April! Which will put me at 12 weeks….Good Luck everyone.

I was accepted January 23rd and still have not received mine either. I did call about day 22 and the nice man (he really was very pleasant to talk to) said that it was okay and that it would take time because of staff cuts and fraud checks. Still, this is a long time to wait. There really is no reason to file early any more if you have to wait this long.
-
March 24, 2015 at 7:02 pm #4110720Philip
I called again and was given a different reason as to why it’s being held up. The classic do nothing and wait we can’t tell you why. I guess I’m supposed to wait until 4/16 before they will even consider giving my refund and from there they can decide if they need more time. I was also told to stop calling.

March 24, 2015 at 4:54 pm #4110704Tiffani
Hi Everybody,
I have nothing to share except my story. I filed and was accepted January 23rd. I can not tell you when my bars disappeared, but I did start off with them. I waited until my Expected Refund Date the TurboTax gave me and I called. At first I got nothing, but automated and I hate automated. I tried to keep pressing zero, but the automated voice got an attitude with me and I cant take that! So I looked on forums on Facebook and everyone is talking about there transcripts. So I go and get those and I get a message saying my account is blocked and I should call some number. So I called and was told she don’t know why I had to call them and said something about being fine and then I said what should I do and I was told nothing….okay that’s cool. So I wait a little more the whole month of February and Half of March( I am pretty patient) So I called back two weeks ago to a number I got off of here and was told I got pulled for ID he gave me a number and transferred me, but as this was going on I went to ID-verify and was told I was blocked on there because of something…Got on the phone with the woman and was told I was pulled for review and that i should expect to be released within 6-8 weeks. 6 weeks was up on March 16th and 8 weeks is up on the 30th. So today I called cause I am still not able to access my transcripts or have a DDD and was again not told anything but given plenty more time to wait. I have no answers I have not been sent a letter and I have not received a phone call. Nobody is telling me anything. The lady today got nasty with me cause I asked what department my return was in. I mean she must know something cause she said the department its in does not give updates??? I mean I am just a measly tax payer but I am pretty sure you just said you pretty much know where it is! She didn’t like that! I just hung up and called a TA that is supposed to contact me by this Friday…I hope she calls me with some good news. My patience has reached maximum level and I am about to riot…Whose With Me?? Its my money and I need it now! Anybody got a pitch fork I can borrow!
All in due time many would say, but man I am struggling here. I am making the best out of what I have, but I could sure use a tiny little bit of help. I am tired and I just want to take a break from work so I can have a four day weekend, catch up on some sleep, catch up on Game of Thrones and I missed like all the season finales. I can’t take a day off, cause if I do somebodies bill isn’t getting paid. What I don’t understand is how they can hold onto your money for whatever reason they are and not give you any news as to why. I mean if you owe them you practically have to leave the country to get them off your back. The people that they hire are so rude…I am a huge believer in good customer service…it takes everything in my not to call one them a name other than the one they were given. I just smile and so okay…Savages.
Any who anybody who has any idea what I should do besides the advocate that would be great!

Actually, I do have some type of movement to report. My Wage & Income transcript has begun to be filled out- it was blank up until today. It has all of my information except for one of my 2 employers. Hopefully once they send their information to the IRS, I’ll see some type of update. Sweeeet.

March 24, 2015 at 4:05 pm #4110701
Called 2 days ago just to see what they would tell me about my cp05 letter. Just told to wait 45-60 days from the date on the letter and that I was randomly pulled for review to verify my income and whatnot. At least that’s 2 people who have told me basically the same thing.
Just gonna sit here and continue to wait, I guess. Sorry I’ve no better updates.

I spent an hour trying to get ahold of the irs this morning. Now they’re telling me there’s no proof I ever worked for my company and they can’t release my returns. I’ve worked for the same place for a decade.
-
March 21, 2015 at 4:22 pm #4110561Candace
Philip, when I called on Thursday they said for cp05 letter that 60 days from the date on the letter is when the review would be finished. My letter was dated for February 23rd but I recieved it a week before on the 14th. If you call Monday please come back and let me know what they tell you. This is so ridiculous. Hopefully all of us will hear something soon.

Still waiting since 1/24 – had to iv/ did this on 2/10 but they did not finish it up and when I called today said it was only verified on 3/03 — so six weeks from then is their answer – so no you are not alone – but yes call them – I don’t care what they say about calling – that is their job to answer your concerns – what can they do – put us to the back of the line – we are already there.

I’ve been waiting since January 29th. I called about two weeks ago. Was told I don’t need to do anything. They are processing manually. It will probably be the first part of April. So much for filing early!

I’m still waiting. Accepted January 20th, got a letter saying my return is under review. I called the irs today to see if there was any progress and she said it’s still waiting to be reviewed. April 9th is the end of my sixty days so there’s no telling when I’ll get it.
-
March 19, 2015 at 10:33 pm #4110482January still waiting too
