Is your 2018 cycle date the same as your 2017 return cycle date?

So I was one of those stuck with the “still processing” message pretty much since my return was accepted on 1/31. I only claimed the electric vehicle tax credit, but no PATH credits. After no movement or updates for 21 days, my 2018 transcript finally updated last night and it provided me with the cycle date of 20190805 and a DDD of 2/27. Interestingly, last year my cycle date was 20180805 and received my refund around the same time of year. Also, the cycle date for this year lines up perfectly with the estimated provided in the stickied thread, which says 20190805 should be processed 2/21/19 (which it was).

For those of you with access to your transcripts, are your cycle dates the same for this year compared to prior years or was this just a coincidence? Should I expect to be in the 20200805 cycle date next year?
