      Say it ain’t so? I read that the irs will be working on backlog returns in 2022, before starting newly submitted returns? I saw it on GMA a couple wks ago as well. Irs is predicting an even longer delay, yet tax deadline remains. Lol. Of course!

            @Kat, you shouldn’t worry unless and until you have to, meaning a message, code or letter from irs. Last yr I filed 2/2 accepted within 20 mins, wasn’t approved until 2/12. DD: 23, Feb. 21 calender days!

              I hope that is not true. I’m a little worried this year. It has never taken my returns this long to get the Path message. The only hope I have right now is my State has been processed and deposit date set. I started to worry if maybe I did something wrong on the return.

                Hi. @clark. Thanks for responding. I have a few of the credits as well as ctc. I never get mine early. But it sure would be a nice surprise this yr..

                  Mine just changed I have access but NA for 2021. I’m normally weekend. I received the updated transcript Friday and deposit the next day via Chime. maybe Friday it will update

                    I don’t believe this as my father filed and was accepted on January 24th , got his refund on January28th. There are different departments working on this year . If you look on this website many people have already got their return within a week. Stay hopeful!
