      Can someone please lend me a hint or tip on how to get through. I got my letter telling me to call the 5084 number and all day yesterday i tried every 30 minutes and got the generic “high call volume cannot complete call” message. I woke up at 7am to try and for the last 2 hours im getting the same thing. Its just a bit ridiculous now. What can i do?

          Did the same thing last season spent a whole day calling…..calling back….getting thru and disconnected….and finally getting thru……and identifying….. to avoid that trap this year I called and self-identified before I filed my taxes in fact the whole month before I filed my taxes

            Finally got through after being on hold for 45 minutes i was told their system was down and that i need to go into my local office. Wow. Im beyond frustrated now.

              You have to hangup and call RIGHT back took about 20 tries then got through.
