IRS Transcript Code 922

Hi, has anyone gotten a 922 code for unreported income on their transcript before? If so and you didn’t agree with the IRS how long did it take to be resolved or if your refund the following year was delayed. Thank you.

I have a code 922 on 2020 refund with date of 08/09/2021(today is 08/01/2021). Still says refund process on check my refund page. No correspondence, nothing from IRS. I have called IRS 3 times and each time they just say we are working on it. Give us more time.

I have a 922 code on my 2018 taxes. Got a letter stating I owed. Filed 2020 return late January, accepted 2/11/2020 finally a ddd for 3/24/21. Got my stimulus with no issue

I’m waiting on my 2020 taxes to be processed. I noticed that on my 2018 transcript, there’s a 922 review of unreported income dated 2-14-21 and $0.00. 2-14-21 just happens to he the same day my taxes werr accepted. My 2020 transcript shows no return filed. Ugh!

Code 922 on a transcript is a “review of unreported income”. It most likely means there was some type of income in the past that you did not report on your tax return. If the amount for code 922 is zero there was no impact on your tax return and is no need to worry.

Same here it’s for my 2018 tax return and shows $0. As of date is 3/1/21. Really hope it doesn’t hold up our returns. Any communication from the IRS about the code for unreported income?

922 code on 2018 transcript dated 3/1/21 no movement on 2020 refund. As of date 2/22/21

I also see a 922 code on my 2018 transcript for $0 dated 2/14/21. I’m also waiting for a DD so pretty nervous also that this might hold it up.

Same only thing I’ve heard is that if it shows 0 it shouldn’t hold up this years refund but you never know what to believe fingers crossed keep the thread lit I’ll check in occasionally my friend

@bitcoin no dollar amount next to it. Was hoping I’d get more responses and get some insight on the code and if anyone else had this issue.
