IRS saying they dont have my earnings from one of my employers last year

I called my employer and they assured me they definitely sent my earnings but they sent it to Social Security and it was up to SS to send them to the IRS. What the fuck do I do now? I’m under a 60 day review and I NEED that money, I don’t understand how the IRS just doesn’t have 11 thousand fucking dollars that I made on file. How does that just not get submitted?

@Gofigure not the captain but I’ll definitely go down with the ship lol. It is well stocked with pool noodles and floaties so we should all be ok. It’s more like we didn’t pay the port fees so we can’t dock anywhere 🤣🤣…side note…how awesome would it be to get both..refund and stimulus relatively close…

Just don’t claim to be Captain on this Cruise Ship..and you’ll be fine!! If u decide to give up hope and bail ship, I’ll share my noodle u threw to save me. Still floating around on it, kicking my feet underneath. Just hope no sea squalls develop….(i.e., stimulus payments becoming more important to kick out before taxpayer refunds).

@Gofigure Yes I finally got ahold of her. Gave her all my info. Faxed the paystub..she did say it would take a bit longer because everyone is working from home but still it made me feel like I made some progress lol.

There is an entire group of people in this same situation. No one really knows that happened..I’ve heard there was a glitch in the system when certain people filed and it kicked them out of cycle. The best I can tell you is try to either get your employer to resubmit your earnings or fax your last paystub to a tax advocate along with the name and number of someone who can verify you worked for them.
