      I’ve called the 1040 and the 0922 number more times than I can count in the last two days. Does anyone know of another number to try?

          choose language
          choose option 2
          choose option 1
          choose option 3
          choose option 2
          Hit # and do not give your SSN
          Repeat step hitting pound without SSN
          Choose option 4
          Choose option 2
          —
          You may have to do this a few times to get through with the lines full, but it will get you where you can actually talk to someone

            The one time I got ahold of an actual irs person was calling a tax advocate by mistake and she patched me thru to irs . I needed to see if my return has even reached the irs as I have no usps updates on delivery or wmr updates what’s so ever and she said she couldn’t help me. And patched me thru and I made her very aware of I’ve called every # and no luck. And It did connect me to irs agent.
            I called one of the advocate lines listed on here
