      So sorry if this has been answered, I tried searching the forum.
      I had a tax debt from a previous year and it was taken out of my federal but they also took my state for it so I paid twice. The IRS has a credit in my account. I spoke to rep monday and she released the credit and today they said it is processing and will be released tomorrow which is Friday.
      My question is how long will it take to reach me by mail. Im in Michigan. Any answers?

          I went to approved on 3/5
          My check mail back date was 3/11
          Several people from IMGR mentioned my check would go out on Friday March 6th.
          Well! I am still waiting so I will update you here if and when it shows up.

            My fiance had to have a paper check mailed because of a bank issue. When I called, they said he should receive it within five weeks. Not sure if that is typical for all paper checks, but that is what they told us. Since they said they are releasing yours tomorrow itdoesn’t seem to me that it would take more than a couple weeks. There’s just no telling when it comes to dealing with the irs 🙄 Hopefully you won’t have to wait long! 🤞🤞🤞
