IRS locked me out because my info doesn’t match!

Except it does because I’m me and I know my name, ssn, dob, and address.

How are we supposed to type apt number? I tried apt XXXX, unit XXXX, apt. XXXX, then I tried my previous address just in case that was triggering the error message, and now I’m locked out.

So no direct deposit in my account, no transcripts, no WMR update. This is fantastic.

  Just put a space and the number. Don’t put # or apt or unit. That’s what I do.

  I watched a guy on youtube talk about this. He said to copy and paste your address from the USPS website. Also, I was trying to get my transcripts and after I was already logged in – it said “unauthorized” and I couldn’t get back in even though my info was correct.
  I tried a different browser on my desktop and it worked just fine.
