8 learned alott this tax year. I will find any receipts to prove this drama is real. I believe they has 45 days give or take to issue any type of refund credits or not I also learned they really do read from scripts type in or look for topic of why your. Calling and then look at 2to4 options of answers even if they look at your profile. Also very underfunded and for those who love our identity to stay ours they take extra simple steps to spend less on fraud filings and of course comes at a cost. Still not happy ? Either am I. It’s our money and we need it now right? Are we selfish and entitled POS? We pay litterly everyday every check into tax money just to wait and cross our fingers to get it back bcuz if rent bills kids shopping cars . But what if we didn’t get that money back? Our schools are horrible pot holes everywhere ghettos aren’t being cleaned up I mean ghetto isnt a area of city it’s a life style of having a hard life but still hanging on and still doing you. I’m a single white female mother of 1 not on any assistance except I get food card and hustle everyday till I can go back to school to v a RN and help people that’s what I’m meant to do in my life. I’ve read so many nice and mean things people say about what others are doing with their refund. And to be honest it doesnt matter. It’s not our issue or problem what someone else does with money that is there’s. And it’s not free $ for those who think claming Earned income credit is free money it’s not it’s a tax break on money you have paid out. If you have no income or on social security you dont go get taxes done and get free $ if I’m correct so stop being a judgemental As$. Instead if talking S#it maybe try to help and do some real research and stop reporting Fake news (btw not a make America great again supporter) and not a liberal I am a human trying to live each day to the fullest and stop the hate we are in this together we are on one world we all get one shot at life why cant we be nice to each other you dont have to like anyone or everyone (cuz I dont) by why not be nice. But back to taxes lol I was under review deff didnt take 60 days but If it does for you keep strong I know you need the $ but it will show up and you might need it more then now when it does. Good luck and let’s all be little more loving

Me too but that won’t help me much this year haha hoping it’s not the same this year.. filed 1/27, accepted 1/28.. I have 570 with 3/2/20, and 971 with 3/9/20. Have not received any letters even though I have had the 971 code for two weeks now. Not sure what’s going on.

That’s insane but yeah I was reading and my mind was like wow I feel it from both sides. I do think government wise the IRS gets ass end of the stick which is safe because taxing is alot of ways things are paid for fixed ect…. I deff think for those in school high school to be exact need a class just a simple FYI so they can understand why we pay taxes kinda like a sex Ed class it doesnt explain how to do it good lol but the concept. But happy you finally got your refund

The IRS can withhold your refund as long as they like. There is no legal limitation to how long they can make you wait, however, by law they half to start paying interest after 45 days so it’s in their best “interest” to pay out before then. My refund was held for identity verification a couple years back, I did not get it back until June. But it was $40 more due to the interest of it passing 45 days after filing
