I’m really pissed off at the fact that I’ve been waiting 21 days for my damn tax refund and still no movement. The 2016 Tax Refund Season is horrible. The IRS is holding onto our money so tight this year. They claim the reason is so they can make sure it goes to the right person. Well hello??? We earned it so why won’t you release it! What the HELL IS REALLY GOING ON?

The IRS is conducting the 2016 Tax Season in such an unethical manner. I think they need to be sued and penalized.

THE NEW SYSTEM IS DISASTER! THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THEIR REFUNDS, AND STILL HAVE NOT BEEN PAID! ITS SO UNFAIR IT MAKES ME SICK.

Its crazy, it seems like the IRS reps in the call center are just paid to answer phones and LIE. You can speak to 5 different reps and you’ll get 5 different stories.

IRS seized my return and wont finish processing it til I submit a bunch of paperwork for “ObamaCare”. Only one problem with their theory. I AM EXEMPT. I made below the Filing Threshold this year. EXEMPT. Their cheapest bronze plan would have been 9% of my income for the whole year. EXEMPT. (If the cheapest plan would be 8% or more of your total income, then you are exempt) so yes IRS is holding our money hostage and I am about to file a letter to my congressman about this. Oh and they refused to tell me until yesterday 2/15 about this.

              Filed 1/27
              Accepted: 1/27
              Seized: 1/30
Letter sent to very very old address I havent lived at in a long time: 2/9
IRS got around to telling me: 2/15 AFTER I called them numerous times and they could have told me but no. We want you to wait the full 21 days to tell you something that you might need to know

I a;gree 100%. How are all of these fraudsters able to get our tax refund money? It seems odd to me that they are able to get our money easier than we can!

If you read articles online you see that the IRS recommends filing early to lessen the chances of becoming an identity theft victim. I know some MUST file as early as possible because if they don’t their ex will file for child credits they don’t deserve. Then when people DO file early or right when the tax season begins they are faced with reviews, holds and of course glitches! So, your damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Its also so ridiculous that you call and ask about your refund and the IRS rep will argue with you for 15 minutes about 21 days. If it were me, I’d just go ahead and look and see if I could help the caller. I mean they are sitting there anyway, answering the phones and its suppose to be their jobs and all. What could it hurt? They would actually reduce the number of calls coming in because most people that don’t get a helpful rep are hanging up and calling right back.

Everyone who has a legit issue with the IRS should sit down and write letters to the “Powers that Be”. I am embarrassed to say I am not exactly sure who we should write, preferably one’s who are up for re-election.
