IRS Identify

I filed on and was accepted on March 16th and waited until today (april 7) Called the IRS and the agent told me that I had to self identify because I moved since last year, I called and self Identified and Now they are telling me that I may have to wait up to 6 weeks for my return….has anyone gone thru this process and did you get your refund earlier than 6 weeks

Trishalla mine is the same. Filed 3/16 accepted the same day. Received id verify letter 4/2. Verified 4/3. Bars disappeared 4/5. Today my WMR says i have a DD date for 4/15. Yayyyy finally

Looks like the process is finally coming to an end…..cchecked where’s my refund…..got this message “Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by April 15, 2015.
If your refund is not credited to your account by April 20, 2015, check with your bank to see if it has been received.”

Trishalla I hope for your sake there telling you the truth .But they have been tellin me the samething for over a month now .I filied on 1/22 on 2/4 I supposed to get my refund but I am still waiting with no answers.I am at my wits end with the irs

well….. if i go on the news of the first irs agent, i should not have to wait long, because my return was in the last step before it gets approved, then was kicked out of the system when last years address did not match…….So when I called to self identify….(which took 3 calls because the first two agents out right refused to help) BUT……this was the catch…..she explained that my return would go back into processing…. and she also explained, that I will see a change in my status on “where’s My Refund” (you know that bar that is driving every american crazy at point) she said of the bar showing 1 bar it would show two…..But really I have only seen it once or twice…..and the final nail in the Coffin was “it could take up to 6 weeks” So its layn like that…..like my dad says “I’m gonna be on it, like ugly on a ape”

Yes trishalla I have been dealing with this since 2/9.I have verified my id twice and as of today I still dont know anything.I have a ta as well And call irs weekly with no help.i have no updates on transcripts or on wmr nothing changes.I hope you dont have to go through what I have been through.but as of today no refund and no updates.
