ok. so let me give a little background.

      2/1 filed and accepted.

2/16 – lost my WMR bars

so on the 22 i called the irs for the first time and the women told me i was randomly selected to get reviewed, assured me i didnt do anything wrong and it was totally random and that i would get something in the mail.

i still didnt get anything so yesterday i called back, just to make sure everything is fine. the women told me that there was nothing coming up in the irs system saying that i was under review and that because of Earned income credit my refund was deleyed and to look out for it on march 5th. before hanging up i asked her “now youre positive that my return is all set and i just need to wait a little longer?” she told me “yes, i promise you sir.”

it didnt sit well with me that i was told different things in the two calls so today i called again, to see what they say is going on. the women told me that i needed to send back income and/or identity verification and i was told not to call untill april 3rd….

so i called 3 times in a week and was told 3 different things and have zero answers. has anybody else been dealing with this?

I can tell you they’re lying about the EIC. I had the EIC and received my refund on the 22nd along with several others I know.

@RemyRodd this is my second time filing my own taxes and this is new to me and i want to make sure i submit everything correct. and im just somebody who doesnt have money but has student loans/car insurance/car payments/phone bill/medical bills to pay. dont worry about it, mind your business. dont comment if you dont have anything constructive to add.

              Breathe and Relax

Btw, filed with TT 1/17, accepted same day. Received id verify letter on 2/17, called 2/20. Given the generic 9 weeks blah blah blah. I have no bars, only the two line message, refund amount in the left. No movement since my bars disappeared in Jan sometime.

IRS sucks. They messed something up and are lying about it.

So STOP calling. It won’t help.

Chill out. We are all getting screwed. The more you call the more you stall.

everyone needs to chill out, seriously.
