IRS accepted question

Is it typical for the IRS to accept quickly? I just filed and submitted my taxes online and about 30 minutes later got an email from H&R saying congrats. The irs has accepted your return. I don’t remember it being so quick in past years. Usually a day or 2

I, too, was accepted within 14 minutes of filing. I filed just this morning (Feb 2) with TT. Fingers crossed on a smooth transaction;

Thanks for the info. It’s actually already showing on WMR as received and processing. Hopefully it’s a smooth year. In the past I typically receive my refund in 11-12 days from filing.

Mine has always been accepted the same day I file.

Up to 48 hours, but its normal to be accepted even within minutes. Congrats
