Iowa Refund Thread

This is a thread for updates on the Iowa state refund. Has anybody received their DD? Iowa’s WMR page says mine was being processed on 1/25 and to allow two weeks for them to process it. I called their phone number yesterday and was told it was approved but to wait 30 days to receive funds. This is my first year filing taxes for the state of Iowa so I’m unsure of the true timeliness.

Mine says processing date 4/17/16 and as of the end of May still have not received my refund, says it was received to allow 2 additional weeks to complete processing of my return. I have never waited this long for direct deposit, not sure what is going on.

02/19/16.. refund approved on 02/18 WMR online says wait 14 days to receive refund. Calling automated system says refund approved but check not issued should receive within 14 days. I opted for DD but I think that it just says check no matter what. Will keep updating in case any one is following. Iowa is just slow this year because of all the fraud!

Supposedly there was a hold on a big batch of refunds due to fraud. I was told that these payments should be released the end of this week 02/19/16. I was told this on Tuesday 02/16/2016. Mine processed on 02/09 and still no update on a refund.

It’s never taken this long to get a refund. I got my Fed 2 weeks ago but still waiting on State. Hopefully something isn’t wrong because last year I got both refunds within a week of each other. It’s getting a bit ridiculous this year. Iowa has to make sure they get as much money from you as possible so it doesn’t surprise me it’s taking this long.

Iowa wmr says one was issued 2/3 but may take 5 days to be deposited. today is the 5th business day.

Same. They said 3-5 days. I would assume that is businesss days. So hopefully we see it tomorrow!

Mine says it was issued on the 3rd but it’s not in my bank account yet…
