I filed on 2/16 and was accepted right away. Still shows as processing. I filed jointly with husband who owes VA for prescriptions. Will still receive about $4,000 after that is paid but did file injured spouse claims since he is on disability and I worked. Does it REALLY take 11 weeks to get refund back??

I filed 2/2 and just got the ID verify letter last night if it helps. All transcripts are blank with no code.

No idea where the ID verify step is in the process; I really hope it isn’t the first thing but with blank transcripts I feel like they haven’t done anything yet. hopefully at least the IS form is with a case worker doing their part.

Just checked transcript and have 570 code…

Also shows date of 3/12/2018. I used to be a weekly until I filed an amended return last year and received my refund on a Wednesday.

              My cycle code is 20180805

              Anyone??

This year u can efile is form with your taxes. I did just that and called offset line and they only will take a very small amount from my check, as of 2/28. So, seems like it is processing along with normal returns… Guess I’ll know for sure on the 28th.

We file injured spouse every single year due to school loan debt and we usually don’t receive our refund until mid March. I’m thinking this year, it’ll be later. Mostly because we’ve been stuck on the “your refund has been delayed” message for over two weeks.
