I called earlier today and was told that my Injured Spouse form was assigned on 4/15/20 which was when they looked into my account for the stimulus which we received half for already I told her.

She then proceeded to tell me that since CVD-19 the timeline reset itself and to expect and update in another 60 days.

I then told her that earlier in the day I was transferred to the IS department and was left with an automated message followed by call was ended.

She said to call Injured Spouse Dept within a week or two.

My thought process goes if they looked into it on 04/15/20 did they just close it back up without finalizing and now I’m reshuffled around or what?

Of course I didn’t ask her this because I felt it would of came out wrong coming for me at the time.

So yeah maybe they are working on it or maybe they are not I still I don’t know.

I contacted random state representatives from my state they one got back to me about filing a tax refund release to a tax associate service and will contact me with any further updates. Idk why the departments arent moving these along i efiled beginning of march with injured spouse
